As digital fundraisers, we’re always so focussed on conversion rates that we may be overlooking those donations which are abandoned mid-way. At THINK Digital Forum we became a little obsessed with wanting to know exactly why users drop-off during the donation process.
So we conducted a mini-study for our Digital Forum to compare donation basket abandonment rates over 1 month, across six non-profit organisations. The results varied tremendously but what is clear is that identifying and tweaking the weak spot in your donation process could make a big difference to your conversion rates.
WEB TV CHANNEL for Female Entrepreneurship

ABSTRACT
Digital media are changing the ways in which books are produced and consumed. In their wide diversity, digital "books" (from enhanced ebooks, to story apps, to game books) challenge the borderlines between books and other forms of digital media. Digital books simultaneously diverge from print books, drawing on other genres and conventions linked to digital affordances, but are also remediating print books, in terms of content, genre conventions, aesthetics, and so on. This presentation starts proposing a typology of digital books that takes into account media convergence, multimodality and remediation from print. Which, by the way, the author thinks will never die out!

Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.

The Gutenberg prints the Bible in Germany 1690-The first English- American newspaper- ‘The Publick Occurences’ 1731- first general-interest magazine ‘The Gentlemen's Magazine’ was printed in London – ended in 1907. 1899 -1967- Major well known todays magazines where established , magazines such as National Geographic, The New Yorker and Seventeen 1690-The first English- American newspaper- ‘The Publick Occurences’ 1983- Desktop publishing begins. Mid-2000 – Facebook and Twitter emerge 2007- Apple releases iPhone, google announces Android, Amazon debuts with Kindle. 2010- Apple releases Ipad
- 3. Traditional Techniques • Mass Publishing dates back to 15th century. And was made possible by etchings( drawing on a metal) technique, screen prints, letterpress, and lithography. • Letterpress was used up until 20th Century when it was replaced by cheaper lithography. • Letterpress is used up until today but it is expensive. • This traditional techniques has began to develop the industrialism of publishing and printing. Letter Press Printing • Letterpress was established in 1440s , invented by Johannes Gutenberg and it is a primary form of printing and communication for over 500years. • Modern movable type of modern movable type printing from individually cast, reusable letters set together in a form (frame or chase). • It was initially established to utilize raised metal type and engravings to imprint words and designs on a page.
