This document discusses supporting young people as they transition from school to the workplace. It proposes using mobile devices and mobile learning assignments to help students reflect on experiences from workplace placements while in school. Students often lack teacher support and structure when reflecting on new, complex situations in the workplace. The document suggests developing a prototype that uses mobile widgets and experience sampling to provide reflection support and bridge learning across classroom and workplace contexts. This aims to help students learn to better control work situations by reflecting on relevant job experiences with guidance from mobile learning assignments.
