This document discusses different types of epithelial tissues: 1. Pseudostratified epithelium has cells at variable heights but all rest on a basement membrane, with nuclei located at different levels and absent from the top 1/3 of cells. It is associated with cilia and goblet cells. 2. Transitional epithelium, like urothelium, can greatly stretch without losing integrity.
