I am a driven and highly motivated individual with excellent managerial experience as well as administration in a
variety of contexts. I have friendly yet firm leadership qualities, which make me a confident, capable manager who

Current Employment:
August 2002 – present Assistant Facilities Manager Interserve FM
Current duties include:-
• Line management of 35 staff
• Ensuring a safe, secure working environment for all site users - including H&S monitoring, inspections, audits and
coordination of all H&S requirements
• Reviewing existing services, specifications, processes, productivity levels and quality control to secure and
increase the efficient use of resources
• Recruitment of employees
• Supporting the Operations Manager in ensuring that output specifications and key targets are met
• Monitoring of quality standards for cleaning & catering for 3 sites, carrying out regular audits
• Producing management reports and managing soft services budgets and expenditure
• Providing in-house staff with direction, support and objectives, recruitment and all HR issues – including PADP
performance is delivered in accordance with Interserve’s established and published
• Keeping close contact with the client to ensure compliance with the contract SLAs and KPI’s
• Liaising with cleaning supervisors, site managers and third parties to ensure smooth running of operations
• Observing the performance of staff, identifying staff training needs and planning training sessions
• Working closely with stakeholders and raising the profile for the facilities management function
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Experience in the Property services / in particular - PFI sector
• Experience and working knowledge of FM service delivery
• Good level of understanding of Health and Safety practices and procedures
• Experience in managing direct employees
• Understanding of the operational aspects of FM in schools
