A line along which two or more fabric parts are joined by sewing is called seam.
Again A stitch line where fabrics are joined together by various fabric arrangements.
So we can say that the line of joining fabric is called seam.
A presentation on the technology of thread and seams, including thread and needle types, sizing conventions, seam and stitch types, and trouble shooting.
Class 100 - Chain stitch
1.One of the simplest stitch types, the chain stitch has one or more needle threads and is formed by Intra looping.
2.This stitch is very Insecure and unravels easily if a stitch is broken or skipped or if the last loop is not fastened securely.
3.This stitch is used for sewing buttons and buttonholes, hemming, basting and pad stitching.
Class 200 - Rand Stitch
1.Generally formed by hand, the hand stitch is made with a needle that is passed from one side of the material to the other as a single line of thread.
2.The most important machine to duplicate this stitch is a pick stitching machine, which is used as a decorative detail on the other edges of jackets.

FIBRE TO FARIC
A Material which is available in the form of thin and continuous stand is called Fibre.
The thin strands of thread that we see are made up of still thinner strands called Fibres.
The cloth produced by weaving or knitting textile fibre is called Fabric.
There are two types of fibres, vi
1. Natural Fibre
2. Man – Made fibre or Synthetic Fibre
This is fundamental description , processing of fiber to fabric and their types. types of fiber, spinning process, techniques of fabric making ,
cover basic natural fibers and fabric ,
Two different systems are followed in wool processing, the woolen system, and the worsted system. In the woolen system, the fibers are carded and then spun It affects the processing efficiency as well as the quality of the product. This presentation has focused on wool spinning particularly woolen & worsted spinning process.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

4. •Sewing thread is first textile material
•25000 years ago sewing threads were made by rubbing and twisting the
long fur fibers pulled from animal skin.
•After that linen fibre was used as sewing thread.
•Soon silk thread also found their way into sewing operation.
•After this cotton thread also become very popular in almost every field.
•NOW THIS IS THE ERA OF PET/COTTON SEWING THREAD.

15. Thread Finishes and their uses
Type – Soft
Description – Natural cotton thread without finishes that appear somewhat
fuzzy. Small amount of lubricant sometimes added to improve sewability.
Sewing Properties & uses – Excellent sewability, lowest cost
Type – Mercerized
Description – Treated cotton thread that is stronger, more lustrous, more
stable (less stretch) than soft cotton thread. The finish reduces the thread
loop strength.
Sewing Properties & uses – Increased tensile strength, lustrous
appearance and brighter shades provide for better seams than soft threads
& costly.
