Ernest Everett Just, the son of Charles and Mary, was born in Charleston, SC August 14, 1883. During
this time Cholera and diphtheria epidemics broke out, and black children were the main ones being
affected by it. Soon after the birth of Ernest, his two year old brother and four year old sister passed
away as a result of these diseases leaving him as the only child in the family for a short time. During

The Prayer Of A Good Shepherd
We are celebrating today the fived Sunday of Ester. During these past weeks we have celebrated the
victory of Christ over death, hear about his mercy, about his love, about this care and protection as a
good shepherd. Many readings during this time have come to us, to our help; today we received the
main commandment love. In the prelude, we were able to hear the fruits of preaching of the apostles.
In the second that we just heart we have an image of the New Jerusalem, the promise to those who

Some years ago I accompany a group of youth of the parish to the WYD in Rio De Janairo. The most

draws each person in the painting. The two paintings portray the Humanist beliefs through the precise
details in which they paint each person and indicates that they have faith and trust in the human race.
In southern Renaissance artwork, the subject matter was usually centered and results in drawing the
