Breeding occurs when the mare experiences photoperiod, which is the exposure to daylight within a
24 hour period. As a result, the mare becomes receptive, and the stallion becomes more dominate.
Testosterone increases which promotes increased reproductive behavior, spermatogenesis, and libido.
Thus, photoperiod, reproductive behavior, and spermatogenesis influences fertility and sexual
behavior of the stallion.
Photoperiod is a key player in the reproductive system of the horse. Increased daily light exposure has
been shown to hasten the onset of the ovulatory season in mares (Sharp and Ginther, 1975) increase
total scrotal width and sexual behavior in the stallion (Clay and Clay, 1992). In the stallion, LH
concentrations increase at the arrival of the breeding season and begin to fall again as the winter
months approach (Irvine and Alexander, 1982; Johnson and Thompson, 1983). Stallions under

My First Day Of Elementary School In America
The First Days of School For many students, a first day of school can be exciting but somewhat
nervous. I was no exception. Both my first day of elementary school in Korea and of high school in
America excited and terrified me. Although these two days concern the stories of my first days of
school, they were different from one another due to the difference in region, race and mindset, and
pedagogical method. First, both these two days were the opportunities to get out of familiar
surroundings and to adapt to new environments; on the first day of elementary school, I left the nest,
whereas, on the first day of high school, I left Korea to attend school. To adjust to high school in
America, however, was more difficult than to elementary school because I encountered a language
barrier and had never been to America. In addition, there was no Korean restaurant nearby, which led

Black Elk Speaks, a personal narrative, has the features of many different genres. The different genres
that I noticed were in the book were, autobiography, testimonial, tribal history, and elegy. Black Elk
Speaks is divided into 25 chapters, which portray the early life of Black Elk. The author tells us that
Black Elk was a healer and a great holy man. He was said to have this mystical vision since he was
young. As a tribal history, it shows the change of the Sioux nation from pre reservation to reservation
culture, including their partaking in the ghost dance, the Battle of Little Big Horn, and Wounded Knee.
Black Elk Speaks propositions testament to the price in human grief that the Sioux had to pay for the
United States expanding westward. It grieves his cultural misplacement and the age of being innocent
and being free.
Black lk Speaks is framed with a preace and Author s postscript. This reminds the readers of an
editing presence. Neihardt explains the circumstances, when he talked to black elk. Initial to the
description of the great vision are chapters 1 and 2. The actual great vision is mentioned in chapter 3.
Chapter 3 was definidtly the longest and the hardest to understand in the book. Chapter 3 was about
Black Elk and his confisence in the author, Neihardt, and it also describes the first couple years in
Black Elks younger days. This includes the first time he heard voices when he was five. It also

This process is continued for selecting the best model for all the new stations (201 to 275). The R
software package is used for this purpose. The extracted best models for the new stations are stored in
.csv file. In some cases, the prediction result is negative or it exceeds the maximum limit of the bikes
that can be parked in a station. This can be overcome by adding a constraint such that whenever the
result is negative, the value is reset to zero and whenever the result exceeds the maximum limit, the
value is reset to the number of docks at the particular station. So, this helps in reducing the error value.
Prediction Using the extracted models, the number of bikes at the new stations is predicted. The same
constraints are applied to avoid negative values and over fitting. The R software is used for predicting
the number of bikes. The results of this prediction are stored in .csv file. Other Methods tried for
prediction Instead of reusing the trained models, new models were built with the given deployment

In Houston, the houses are mainly made of wood, on the contrary, the houses in Lima are made of
bricks and concrete because the atmosphere is more humid than in Houston. Another difference of the
houses would be the roofs. In Houston the roofs are inclined and steep because it rains abundantly, in
