• There are 17 students aged 15-16 (grade 3) in the target group.
• All of them had to fill in the questionnaire.

• It can be noticed that students use different sources to learn
a foreign language.

• Analyzing the data it can be seen that students prefer verbally
communication.
• They use writing easily.

order;

• When asked about Latvia:
• 6 students know the capital city, 4 students mistook Latvia for
Lithuania;
• 6 students know the flag colours and name them in the correct
order, 2 name the colours of the Lithuanian flag;

(one choice) • 1 -Watch it without interfering • 3 -Try to say your point of view in a weak voice • 6 -Strongly participate in the debate, defending and sustaining your point of view • 0 -Leave the room • From these results, it can be understood that most of the students possess good communication abilities.

  • 11. • Analyzing the data it can be seen that students prefer verbally communication. • They use writing easily. • More than half of them uses social media.

Knowledge of Italy • When asked about Italy: • 10 students know the capital city; • 10 students know the flag colours and name them in the correct order; • 8 students named famous people: • Al Bano, Fernando Beluschi - singers and actors • Leonadro da Vinci – a polymath • Mario Balotelli – a football player • Luciano Pavaritti – an opera singer

Knowledge of Latvia • When asked about Latvia: • 6 students know the capital city, 4 students mistook Latvia for Lithuania; • 6 students know the flag colours and name them in the correct order, 2 name the colours of the Lithuanian flag; • 2 students named a famous person : • Nikolas Loski – a philosopher • Zenta Maurina – a writer, an essayist • Sandra Kalniete – a politician
