This document contains a student's reflection on their participation in a living museum class project. The student gave themselves grades ranging from 4 to 8 in different categories related to their speech and poster. They explained that their speech received a lower grade due to lack of information and poor grammar. They were pleased with the structure and information in their poster, but felt it could include more details. The student said they enjoyed the experience overall but felt nervous giving their speech and would change their script and movement. They also wished other students had remained still like statues during the presentations, as that was the purpose of the living museum activity. Overall, the student found the living museum to be a fun way to learn about different historical figures.

Foolish people will always be servants to the wise.

common sense tells you it’s a stupid way to live.
Proverbs 11:28-30
The Message (MSG)
28 A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stump;
a God-shaped life is a flourishing tree.
29 Exploit or abuse your family, and end up with a fistful of air;
common sense tells you it’s a stupid way to live.
30 A good life is a fruit-bearing tree;
a violent life destroys souls.
Proverbs 11:28-30
Living Bible (TLB)
28 Trust in your money and down you go! Trust in God and flourish as a tree!
29 The fool who provokes his family to anger and resentment will finally have nothing worthwhile left. He shall be the servant of a wiser man.
30 Godly men are growing a tree that bears life-giving fruit, and all who win souls are wise.[a]

Psalm 109:1-8New Life Version (NLV)
A Man in Trouble
109 I give praise to You, O God. Do not be quiet. 2 For sinners and liars have opened their mouths against me. They have spoken against me with lying tongues. 3 They have gathered around me with words of hate. They fought against me for no reason. 4 I give them my love but they speak against me in return. But I am in prayer. 5 They pay me what is bad for what is good. They give me hate for my love.
6 Let a sinful man have power over him. Let one who speaks against him stand at his right hand. 7 When he is tried, let him be found guilty. And may his prayer become sin. 8 Let his days be few. Let another person take over his work.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. Gr 9 Living Museum - REFLECTION!!!!
If 1 is the lowest & 10 is the highest, what grade would you give yourself for:
1) the information in your speech:4
2) the information in your A3 posters:7
3) the way you did your speech (your presentation):8
4) the way your A3 posters looked (its presentation):8
5) the amount you enjoyed yourself during that 1 hour of presenting:7
Explain your reasons for the grades you gave yourself above for:
1) the information in your speech:
- Not so much information
- Bad grammar
2) the information in your A3 posters:
-Need more information
-Interesting structure
-It make people understand
3) The way you did your speech (your presentation):
-Nervous
-Forgot some lines
2. 3) the way your A3 posters looked (its presentation):
-Interesting structure
-Colorful
-Nice
4) the amount you enjoyed yourself during that 1 hour of presenting:
If you could change anything about what YOU did, what would it be? WHY?
- I would change my script more so that people more likely to come and listen to
my speech. I will also improve my movement and my poster. I should put more
information on my poster so that people will know more about me.
If you could change anything about what ANYONE ELSE DID, what would it
be?WHY?
In drama class I learned that everyone should be a statue until someone come
to listen to us we will able to move but when we on living museum we didn’t do
this skill. Living museum is basically about being a statue and come back to life
so I think other people should be a statue and also have their own movement.
3. In general, your living museum experience was very fun because I can learn
about someone. I really learn a lot about IBN Battuta and now I know all the
history of Ibn Battuta. It’s also fun because I can learn about other people too. I
saw there is a lot of famous explorer and inventor around me when we do the
living museum
Thank you for your honest reflection!
