Editor's Notes
Tech Apps is a course for 6th graders that will introduce you to computers and technology. You will learn about lots of things ranging from netiquette and digital citizenship to typing and how to use Microsoft applications. This is a fun class that will help you be more successful when you are in the computer lab with your other classes.
In Tech Apps you will get the opportunity to work in groups on projects, and you’ll also get to work on projects that relate to what you’re learning in your other classes. Two of the most important things you’ll learn in Tech Apps are how to use Microsoft application and proper keyboarding technique. When you finish this class you’ll be able to handle any project in Microsoft Office and Powerpoint and you’ll be typing faster than all your friends…and even some of your teachers!
