4. Target Audience
The main target audience for our film is people within the age
of 15-24 as this is the group most popular attraction to the
cinema for this type of genre. The main people who will watch
our film are most likely to be women/ teenage girls as this is
who this genre most appeals to. Ideally we want to appeal our
film to students as this is what the film is about and they will be
able to relate their life to the film. Also the audience for our
film will mainly consist people who are into love and
relationships with happy endings.
5. Ideas for Titles/Opening
Sequence
Our titles sequence is going to be a mix between
a montage and continuity sequence using
doodled images that will overlap the shot
'Doodles' will also continue
throughout the font of the
titles
This will
also
catch
the
eyes of
the
genre
audience
During our opening sequence we have decided to
feature a 'dream scene' to illustrate what the
protagonist wishes their life was like
We have also decided to feature split screen that will
show the morning routine of the two protagonists. This
will show a contrast between the two characters.
Eventually
,the
split
screen
will
over-
lap.
We
have
chosen
to do
this in
order to
portray
the
relationship between the
two characters
6. • The opening of this film will hopefully entice the audience because
they can relate it to their everyday lives as they are surrounded by
college life and a different mix of people such as the characters in our
film. The opening of this film will create a sense of fantasy for the
audience which we have achieved by creating a dream scene.
