Film trailer: idea 1
• Genre: Action
• Rating: PG-13
• Music: Skattaofficial ft Krisis – Invincible.
• Rough storyline: Protagonist’s girlfriend is kidnapped by a gang who know the him. He must
follow their clues and obey their commands in order for him to find where his girlfriend is being
held. He comes across an ex solider who becomes his support and he receives different
items/boxes that have hints in them. He follows the clues that lead them to where his girlfriend is
- only to fight for death and save the girl - there is a massive fighting scene that occurs.
• Poster: The poster would consist of the main character in the
centre of the space. He would be dressed in protective clothing
and holding a gun to indicate to the audience that the film’s genre
is action. The background would feature a shot of a building that is
important within the film i.e. the place where the girl is being held.
The title would be in the bottom third of the screen.
• Magazine: The magazine would consist of the main character
who is in the centre of the space. He would have a gun in his hand
and he would be aiming it towards the person reading the magazine.
The character would be overlapping the name of the film and the
title of the film would be in the bottom third of the magazine.
Film trailer: idea 2
• Genre: Romance
• Rating: PG-13
• Music: Charlie Rhymes – Together
• Rough storyline: The protagonist, her boyfriend and three friends have been going to the same
area/bench since they met. It is their hangout space. They share moments and have fun times.
The only difference with this protagonist is that she has been diagnosed with cancer. She
continually has to take trips to the doctors and take medicine/tablets in order to try and increase
the amount of days she has left. The foursome spend time together and do what typical best
friends do In order for her to enjoy life and how long she has left.
• Poster: The poster would contain the two main characters going
in for a kiss in order to indicate to the audience that they’re the two
that are in love. The title would be in the bottom third of the space
and the shot would contain a natural background.
• Magazine: The magazine would also contain the two main characters
but because it would be a magazine cover, they would be looking
towards the camera but still be touching each other to indicate that
they’re in love. The background would able to natural to make the love
look real and easily relatable.
Advert: idea 1
• The first idea for my advert would be for a album that is due for release. The advert
would include audio clips of some of the songs that will be on the album and contain
a couple of different video clips from the videos of the songs. I would use my friend
Gary who is a music artist and he would give me permission to use his songs and then
I would download them and put them onto the advert. The advert would feature
different settings for the songs. Some setting ideas would be a woodland or a studio
session with his singing to one of his songs. I think that this would work really well in
terms of his songs. I would give little information about the album but at the end I
would inform the audience what the album cover looks like and give a website that
gives them more detail about the product. There would also be a narrator that gives
the audience the information. She would say things like ‘Definition – the new album
by Gary Hellman’ and ‘out January 24th’. I think that this would work really well and
Advert: idea 2
• The second advert idea that I would do would be to advertise a tour for an
music artist. I would use my friend Cer who is an upcoming music artist. I
would put my model in a big, puffy and eye-catching dress in order to make
her stand out against the rest of the people. I would have other people in
the advert as servants and dancers who open the door for her to enter the
room in slow motion. She would stand in the centre of the room and then
the dancers would begin to dance. I would have my main subject standing in
front of the dancers using slight body movements that make her appear
sexy. I would use close ups of her face and then shots of her standing in
front of the dancers. I would then have her walk towards the camera and
speak directly to the audience by saying something like ‘are you ready?’ or
‘are you in?.’ I think this would work really well. I would also have a narrator
that speaks at the end of the advert to say something like ‘EGX Tour’ ‘get
your tickets now’ while a black screen shows the website in which you can
get the tickets.
