• Old version of SAC’s databases. Metadata was designed by researchers and
based on academic content, but non-international standard metadata.
Home Made Metadata
• 15 core elements (++sub-elements), namely,Title, Creator, Subject,
Description, Publisher, Contributor, Date,Type, Format, Identifier, Source,
Language, Relation, Coverage, Rights.
• Major standard metadata set of the SAC databases.
• Mostly use with intangible digital record (inf. from summary/analysis,
digitisation, field notes, etc.).The SAC does not hold physical object. For
example, FolkToys ofThailand, Manuscripts ofWesternThailand, Ethnic
Groups inThailand, etc.
