15. q Through integration in key research workflows such as research
outputs (manuscripts, published articles, datasets etc.) and grant
submission, ORCID will support automated linkages between the
researchers (Grantees) and their research outputs
q ORCID unique identifiers, will enable NRF to harvest research
publications in publishers’ databases (therefore maximise ingestion
of research outputs in repositories
q ORCID will also ensure that each grantee’s research activities are
distinguished from those of others with similar names
