The goal for the psychoeducational group based on mindfulness was to: define
mindfulness, share various mindfulness skills, discuss the applicability of
mindfulness, and practice a few of the mindfulness skills. Aside from these goals,
which were created for the specific group session that was led in class, there are
also goals of psychoeducation as a whole. The purpose of psychoeducation is to
share information with group members about a particular topic. Related to that topic,
skills should be built upon. Psychoeducation not only provides group members to
share their personal experiences related to the group s topic, but also to teach the
group members how to create their own support system outside of the group (Corey,
2016).
Overall, I felt as though the goals of the group on mindfulness were accomplished,
as well as the goals of psychoeducation as a whole. Whitney and I were able to share
information on mindfulness with the class, which included the definition, skills,
applicability, and examples of mindfulness, encompassing the goal for the particular
session that was led. Furthermore, I felt as though the group members were able to
share their personal experiences related to mindfulness and were even able to create
their own techniques and skills that can be implemented to reach the desired goal of
mindfulness in their personal lives.
Even though a few group members openly shared what they like to do to stay
mindful, one way to engage the group a little more would have been to go around

Sweat trickled down my eyebrow. I barely opened my eyes and saw a tiny sliver of
light peeking through my window. I almost fell back asleep that day, and I would
have missed class if not for my dog. Winston always has a way of knowing when it
is time to get me up. He jumped on my belly, and I knew it was time for us to start
the day. Every day is the same day, same routine, and same Olivia. Ever since I was
young, I have loved routine. Well, not so much loved it, but I had to have it. The
earliest memory I have of my practices was at the age of five. I am deathly afraid of
throwing up, otherwise known as Emetophobia. The thought, feeling, even seeing

In the field of psychology, it has been proven that music can affect the brain and
human moods. During many moments of stress during the play, A Streetcar Named
Desire , different songs intertwined with stage directions have portrayed that

My Life Experience
It was a dark and warm night as the wind was breezing on my face. My parents and
I went to the entrance of the airport in Ethiopia. The date was September 15, 2017
and that day was the day that we were leaving Ethiopia. We had stayed there for

My Day In Thailand
I remembered when I fell down the tall lime tree. I remembered wrapping around
my friend s arms, jumping and running like crazy and singing along with them

My Village Life
Growing up in the city of Lagos Nigeria where everything is immensely distinct in
comparison with parts of the country with a fast pace flow of things, with people
from every ethnic group and religion you could never feel isolated in Lagos it
almost reminds me of New York City vibe filled with clustered building and
congested with an abundance of people. One evening we received news that we
would be heading to the village to visit family and at last go, to the farm we heard
so much about my dad is from the village known as IVIUKHUA which is located in
Edo state nicknamed the heartbeat of Nigeria. See compared to the city life the
village life was rough but my grandparents seem to love it and I remember visiting
them ever so often you know you know you were in the village once you start to
notice the absence of electricity poles that alone gives you an idea of what a day
to day would be in the village. The village consisted of several walking distance

Smith published the Wealth of Nations in 1776 in which he detailed his concept of
the division of labor; a concept he believed would further the productivity of the
labor market. In Capital, Volume 1, published in 1867, Karl Marxtook a much
different stance on the division of labor. Writing nearly a century after the
publication of the Wealth of Nations, Marx was in the position of the critiquing
Smith s revolutionary theory of the division of labor. Instead of praising Smith,
Marx saw the current state of labor and the capitalist model of society as degrading
to the laborer. Through analysis of these two novels, one can see that there exists

When it comes to ocean pollution, it doesn t only affect our beaches, but it also
affects the sea animals. In Figure 1, you can see an innocent seahorse wrapping
their tale around a q tip. The seahorse in Hofman s photo is just one example of

fisherman. In the documentary Plastic Paradise, Angela Sun discusses how fisherman
leave fishing nets in the ocean. If they get trapped or dirty, typically the fisherman s
easy way out is to throw it into the ocean and forget about it. While floating around in

Analysis Of Meursault In The Stranger
In Camus s The Stranger, Meursault is a detached man who shows the reader from
his own perspective his experiences of living outside of society s expectations.
Although Meursault finds comfort in living with his own standards, he finds that it is
impossible for him to be treated fairly by those who live in accordance with society s
expectations. Thus, Meursault suffers from society s judgmentand eventually loses his
life.
During Meursault s trial for the killing of an Arab, the reader can see how
Meursault s indifferent attitude and moral ambiguity is at odds with society s
behavior expectations after the prosecutor and witnesses describe Meursault s
behavior during his mother s waking and funeral as calm. (85). The courtroom
itself is a symbol of society s judgement on those who do not follow society s
behavioral expectations and this is why the prosecutor is able to successfully paint
Meursault as cold hearted in the eyes of the jury who are judging based on society s

Through 1980 and 1990, Ridgway was to have killed at the least 71 people. In an
interview he said he killed so many that the lost count. Most of his victims were
runaways or prostitutes whom he had picked up and strangled along Pacific
Highway South. A majority of the murders took place in 1982 1984. A lot of the
bodies were dumped along the Green River, in the wooded area, hence the name
