This project proposes automatic detection of human and energy saving room architecture to reduce standby power consumption and to make the temperature of the room easily controllable with an IR sensor and Lm35 temperature sensor using air conditioner . The proposed auto-detection of human done using the IR sensor to indicate the entering or exit ofthe persons. Microcontroller continuously monitors the infrared receiver. When any object pass throughthe IR receiver then the IR rays falling on the receiver are obstructed, this obstruction is sensed by the microcontroller ATMEGA16.When the temperature of the room is varied then the lm35 temperature sensor converts this temperature change into voltage which is then sensed by the microcontroller ATMEGA16 .
In such cases our project is aimed at starting one ac among both depending upon the temperature value at a particular room .If the temperature on the particular room is above certain range then the AC in that room will start up and during this time the AC in the other room will remain switched off. When the temperature goes below 25 degree in the room where AC is already on will be switched off automatically. Then if the temperature on the other room during the time is above 30degree then the AC in that room will start up and vice versa .The second feature of our project is aimed at switching of the AC automatically when there is absence of human beings in a particular room .The entire scheme is designed using number of ATMEGA16 microcontrollers , temperature sensors , digital counter ,IR sensors , relay etc.
This project will solve the day-to-day problem where AC’s do not start up due to low voltage generally in rural areas .This will start the AC depending upon the temperature label in a room by sharing the load .Also this project can be extended for controlling the temperature in more rooms in an apartment.

In this research, the design and simulation of an automatic system for temperature control using embedded system in order to automatically control of multi appliances depend on the temperature value. The appliances will be controlled are ventilation, cooling, heating and alert. this is an order to avoid or reduce to human intervention and increase system reliability. An important feature of this automation process is to reduce or eliminate the possibility of relying on the human factor operator for industries, warehouses and laboratories, and to improve working and performance environments. The system in this paper used the microcontroller PIC16F887 as the central control unit, LM35 temperature sensor as a temperature source,16x2 liquid crystal display (LCD) as indicator to display the different system working status an addition to some of drivers, relay and light emitting diodes (LED) as indicators to display the corresponding working appliance driver. The implementation and simulation of the system work has been achieved by using proteus professional software v8.0 and mikroc pro for pic v .6.6.1 software to write the equivalent program and generate .hex file for system working. The result shows in figures 5, 6, 7, and 8 that explain the system working cases.
This paper presents an innovative prototype design of electric fan with smart characteristics. This electric fan uses a microcontroller to produce an automation function. It also has a unique double feature designs, such as using 2 fans, 2 Light Emitting Diodes (LED) and 2 sensors. This is to ensure the cooling process operates more efficiently and effectively, especially for a large space application and in hot weather due to global warming. By applying the circuit, it offers a better life for human. It is really practical for senior citizens to make their life simpler. The circuit is also suitable for disabled people who have difficulty to switch on the fan manually. Lastly, the circuit can be manipulated by diversifying its function as a detector, where it can produce an alarm signal when emergency case occurs such as the house or premise is on fire.

A normal electric kettle usually is intended to boil water until boiling point and cannot be controlled. Most of the kettle does not provide the temperature display for user to track the current temperature reading. Thus, this project is inspired from the shortcoming of most kettles that are sold at the market. By using Arduino microcontroller, a device is developed to control water temperature inside electric kettle. To provide automated temperature control, PID controller is chosen since it can provides precise water temperature control with less fluctuation. The device is also equipped with the display of the current water temperature and desired temperature. The device is tested to an electric kettle and the performance of PID controller in controlling water temperature is compared to on-off controller. An analysis is performed based on the amount of fluctuation with respect to desired temperature to verify the efficacy of the designed circuit and controller. It is found that the developed device and PID controller are capable to control the water temperature inside kettle based on the desired temperature set by user with less amount of fluctuation

Low Cost Temperature and Humidity Estimator with Atmega8 MicrocontrollerYogeshIJTSRD
This paper presents a efficient but also cost effective system to determine two parameters of the atmosphere, which are the temperature and humidity. The Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor 22 DHT 22 is used to measure the temperature and humidity. The temperature measured is the ambient temperature of the atmosphere and humidity is the relative humidity of the atmosphere. The system is constructed with AVR atmega8 as a controller and a LCD liquid crystal display 16x2 display as a means to display the temperature and humidity. Through the Arduino IDE Integrated Development Environment code Is uploaded to the ATmega8. Also as the display is operated in 4 bit mode thus there are many pins of the ATmega8 which are available for other purposes and the system becomes compact. Automatic room temperature controlled fan using arduino uno microcontrollerMohammod Al Emran
This paper presents the designs and the simulation of a DC fan control system based on room temperature using pulse width modulation technique, humidity and temperature sensor namely DHT11 with Arduino Uno Microcontroller. The fan will be used to reduce temperature of a room at certain level. To build the fan, we will use DTH11 Humidity Sensor. The sensor will measure the temperature continuously. When the temperature gets higher from a specific temperature, the fan will be on “On” mode. The speed of the fan will be determined by pwm using pulse-width modulation. The temperature along with the speed of the fan will be displayed through LCD monitor.

The development of cellular communication is largely depending on the improvement and stability of Base Transceiver Station (BTS) room. So for the purpose of the development of cellular communication a large numbered BTS rooms are installed throughout the world. To ensure proper support from BTS rooms there must be a security system to avoid any unnecessary vulnerability. Therefore multiple alarm system is designed to secure the BTS rooms from any undesired circumstances. This system is designed with a PIC Microcontroller as a main controller and a several sensors are interfaced with it to provide high temperature alarm, smoke alarm, door alarm and water alarm. All these alarms are interfaced with the alarm box in the BTS room which provides the current status directly to Network Management Centre (NMC) of a Global System for Mobile (GSM) communication network.

2. The aim of the project is to construct a microcontroller based
automatic temperature controlled fan .
In this project ,a temperature sensor and a microcontroller
namely ATMEGA8 is used to the temperature variation.
The output of the temperature sensor is fed to the
microcontroller input pin.
Automated fan is regulated based on environment temperature.
To assist people who are disabled to adjust the fan speed

10. The hardware part is halfway implemented. Through
simultaneous and after running the code in IDE is verified. The
fan starts to rotate only when the temperature is greater than 28
degree celcious. Due to present automatic controlled system, a
person in deep sleep can get comfort from the fan without
adjusting its speed manually.
