A Brave New World Cloning Analysis
The idea of cloning has been around for decades, and some scientist have even utilized this process. In
the story Brave New World by Aldous Huxley the author presents the process of cloning by using
hatcheries instead of natural reproduction, which no longer exists, to create individuals. Individuals in
society are given different doses of lethal drugs to alter development so that they meet the standards
based on their pre determined social classes. The concept of cloning is used to propagate another
organism or cell to create an exact copy of its original without the use of natural reproduction. This
process has been very successful with the cloning of animals, cells, and even a recent human
experiment. In the case of cloning, the power of

Thatcher and Thatcherism Essay
Thatcher and Thatcherism
It is now twenty years since Margaret Thatcher was elected Prime Minister of Great Britain, and over
eight years since she left office. So this seems a good opportunity to look back at what Thatcher and
Thatcherism may have achieved, and what may be the lessons for today.
I must start with a disclaimer. I m the British High Commissioner and normally speak on behalf of the
British Government in Australia. But I hope you will realise that in addressing a subject such as this I
am speaking in a personal capacity. I am not quite sure what the Foreign Office would say if I asked
them for the official line on Thatcherism. Given some of their run ins with her on foreign policy, ...

But the bulk of my career was in fact working for Ministers who to a greater or lesser extent fell out
with her. Nigel Lawson, who was Chancellor of the Exchequer, and in many ways one of those who
most closely shared her philosophy on freeing markets and on cutting spending and taxes. But who
disagreed with her strongly on exchange rate policy and on the poll tax, leading eventually to his
resignation.
And then I worked for John Major, when he was Prime Minister, and in effect her anointed successor.
But who found it hard sometimes to cope with the voices off from Mrs Thatcher or her friends
criticising him for not following her policies or her advice.
So I welcome this opportunity to step back and reflect on Thatcher and Thatcherism.
By any standard, she is a remarkable figure. The longest serving British Prime Minister this century.
The only one to have won three successive General Elections and indeed she was never defeated at a
General Election. The only woman Prime Minister. The only one with an ism associated with her.
I want to concentrate on her period as Prime Minister. But I first should put it in context by setting out
some of the background. For she became Prime Minister at a time when some of the accepted
nostrums that had guided British

The Issue Of A Great Amount Of Money $ 4 Million
Introduction
I am a senior accountant working for Cape Tisbe International (CTI) and am writing this business
report concerning the issue of a great amount of money $4 million that has been paid to a PNG
government minister as Consulting Fees recently. In this report, I would like to identify the fact , the
issues needed to be tackled, and then discuss the possible consequences derived from those issues,
subsequently I will offer some plausible solutions in tackling this issue in a long run development. .
Facts
A year ago, CTI signed a contract for farm machinery, worth $25 million, with Papua New
Guinea(PNG). Recently, however, when I was conducting the annual internal audit, I have discovered
some issues associated with this signed contract. As soon as I found something wrong with the
contract s accounting records I communicated with George but his answer has not addressed my
confusion. Soon after that I had a chat with my boss Gareth because it was my duty to identify and
reveal any detailed information related to CTI s financial records. after the conversation with both of
them, I decided to dig it further. Now I discover that the actual sale revenue of the contract was $21
million as around $4 million has been paid to a PNG government minister as Consulting Fees .
I understand that the payment was paid to a certain person in order to secure the contract and
maximize the wealth of our company. According to the relevant regulations and rules provided by

Using Technology Into Your Classroom
Creating a WebQuest
In many classrooms today, the use of technology is becoming more popular in the classrooms. Many
teachers are incorporating the use of technology into their lessons and methods of teaching. One way
to introduce technology into your classroom is to create a WebQuest.
What is a WebQuest you may ask? Well, a WebQuest is an inquiry base lesson format where students
take information they are given and create new information to make meaningful projects that they can
present in different ways. In other words, students go on a quest using the web to find answers to the
questions given or complete a task, learning more on the subject while doing so.
Why use a WebQuest
A WebQuest is an interactive way to get students involved in the lesson, promotes higher level
thinking, and gets students more familiar with different aspects of the Internet. So, whether you are an
education student new to the topic or an experienced teacher educator looking for new methods
involving technology, learning how to make a WebQuest is a useful tool to have.
A few tips before beginning.
1. Become familiar with resources available online.
2. Find topics that fit within the curriculum and which there are materials online. It makes sense to
choose a project that couldn t be done as well without web access.
3. Choose a template that fits the subject and classroom. Pre made templates can be found online, or
one can be created in Word, Powerpoint, even Excel. Keep in mind of what

Ciccone Case Study Essay
Ciccone has identified in chapter 16 a wide range of medications that would treat Rheumatoid
Arthritis ranging from NSAIDs, Corticosteroids to DMARDs. According to Mayo Clinic, rheumatoid
arthritis is a chronic inflammation that not only affects the joints but other body systems such as the
lungs, the heart and even the skin (Mayo Clinic Staff, 2016). UpToDate has an even extensive
definition about the disease process. In the article, it highlighted that rheumatoid arthritis to be a
symmetric, inflammatory, peripheral polyarthritis of unknown etiology (Venables Maini, para. 1). In
fact, it has revealed that if it will be left untreated will result to severe deformity making it more

The prevalence of the disease occurs in diverse races, culture, and different age groups. Although, it is
predominantly seen during old age, older teenagers and young adults also gets affected by it. It is a
common problem with the female population against the male counterpart ( , 2014). An early
recognition of the disease will curb and control the disease process at the same time thwart any
deformities that will bring about disability to the individual. This can be accomplished through an
extensive medical history isolating the areas especially complaints of pain and swelling on the joints.
Laboratory work up is also critical to identify the specificities of the arthritis at the same time

Richard Nixon s Impact On The Nation
In his first couple of months in the oval office, Richard Nixon positively impacted the nation. As did
most previous presidents do, Nixon had put himself right into action making sure he could build up
and maintain and good reputation in office. But soon after completing his first term, disaster struck
just as reelection was coming up. Nixon had destroyed his reputation, and by doing so showed the
people how easy it was to be successful at a point and then lose it all due to one event, Watergate. Paul
H. Elovitz, who teaches at Farleigh Dickinson University and is a founding faculty member of
Ramapo College of New Jersey, begins to break down Nixon s scenario. Elovitz comments, Among
his successes were the recognition of China, ending ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Nixon worked hard for all the goals he reached, but as it is emphasized, Nixon s major failure brought
his reputation to the dumps. We can see that Elovitz wanted readers to see how one man can achieve
so much for so long, then lose everything because of one event. In Edward D. Berkowitz s early books
about what occurred in the seventies, both cultural and political, he discusses the topic of the
Watergate scandal, viewing it more as a criminal act and misuse in power that develops from a spoiled
and corrupted mind. I truly believe that Nixon s purpose for the misuse in power came from his
corrupted mind that desired more power and recognition from the American people. We do not see
Edward jump right into the Watergate scandal, but work his way up to it following events that may or
may not have changed Nixon s desire for power. When Edward begins to discuss the scandal, he opens
with in his zeal to win, which comes to mind as Nixon stopping at nothing to pursue victory, even at
great risks. Later being involved in the Watergate scandal, we learn that Nixon was entangled with the
scandal (Berkowitz 19). Part of Nixon s staff had broken into the Watergate hotel in attempt to bug the
Democratic National Headquarters. As explained by Berkowitz, Nixon s men were no ordinary
burglars, but

The Category And Summary Of The Lord Of The Flies
Summary of the movie: A gathering of young men end up stranded on an island and begin getting to
be plainly savage. Reasonable Ralph turns into the assigned pioneer of a group of military children
who crash in the sea and wind up on a rich island. Initially, the gathering began as companions,
cooperating to survive, however soon they split into two camps, the other drove by Jack, who winds
up noticeably lopsided and somewhat vicious. Jack has a no rules, savage operation, with his young
men running chasing for pigs and plotting assaults on the adversary camp. The head of a pig is put on
a stake, and turns into The Lord of the Flies. There is tumult battling about essential items, for
example, the conch shell, to some degree an image of who s in control, and a pair of glasses, used to
start a fire. Jack and his rowdy young peers attempt to take these. In the meantime, the tranquil and
intelligent kid Simon, of Jack s gathering, sets out and finds a cave where a creature lives, the beast
being the plane s captain who survived and hung out there. Simon returns from the experience shaken
and filthy, at camp the young men assault him with lances, slaughtering him. Afterward, Piggy, from
Ralph s camp is murdered when a gigantic rock is pushed and falls on him. Ralph fears for his life,
knowing very well indeed that Jack is currently after him. Flames are begun to bait him out of the
wilderness. A group of American militaries arrives, and encountered upon the young men, putting

The Book Thief Book Report
Through the eyes of Death, Liesel Meminger s story is told. Young Liesel and her brother, escorted by
their mother, are travelling by train to live with their new foster parents, Rosa and Hans Hubermann.
During this trip, Werner, her brother, dies a mysterious death. During his burial, Liesel snags a book
from the gravedigger. This was the first of many books to be stolen. When Liesel and her mother
arrive in Molching, Germany, Liesel is reluctant to leave. Hans coaxes her inside and becomes the
fatherly figure she never had. Liesel adjusts to her new life, but is tormented by nightmares of her
brothers death. Hans helps her cope by teaching her to read. She soon learns the value of words and
steals another book at the book burning held to celebrate Hitler s birthday. She also begins to steal
books from Ilsa Hermann, a former customer of their laundry business. While attending school, Liesel
meets Rudy Steiner, who happens to be her neighbor. Rudy is obsessed with Jesse Owens, for he went
as far as to paint himself with charcoal when practicing his sprints. Despite this incident, Liesel still

Technology And The Virtual Consciousness
Mind transferring requires an in depth understanding of how the brain works, interactions between the
original and the virtual counterpart, and a stimulated world for the virtual consciousness. Dvorsky
doesn t believe that mind transferring would be possible due to lack of knowledge about the
consciousness, or how to map out a stimulation to understand complex thoughts that humans have.
And if we tried to experiment with this, wouldn t subjects be injured during the process? In SOMA, a
game that focuses on this premise, there was a belief in those who went through the experiment would
be able to rejoin with their immortal, stimulated selves after they died (McGill). However, this belief

Cryonics is the theory of freezing people, and then reanimating them in the future. In my childhood,
we heard these rumors of Disney keeping Walt Disney s head frozen in hopes of reanimating him
when the technology came. There was a TV series, Out of Jimmy s Head, that parodied this rumor,
and played around with the subject of cryogenically frozen brain transplants. Even though the boy had
his brain switched for the cartoonist s frozen brain, he still had his own conscious, but with the
hallucinations of the cartoonist s. However, this is a TV series that appeared on Cartoon Network, so
this insight may have been an oversight in their planning.
The reason cryonics is in development was so that if a person had cancer, or lung cancer like Walt
Disney, they could be frozen and reanimated once a cure is found. And there are some people who
wished to be living fossils, or to see the future with their own eyes. This concept was also seen in
Futurama, as Fry tripped into an ice chamber until he was unfrozen in 3000. The main problem is
trying to preserve human tissue by freezing it is that water in the tissue forms ice and causes damage
(Thomson). Currently, they have found a way to keep ice from forming by replacing a person s blood
with a cryoprotectants, essentially antifreeze; however, there is still

I Am Waiting For The Concert
Sunday, May 29th 2016, 2:55PM: I am waiting for the concert to begin as I watch the musicians walk
onto the stage one by one, rehearsing a few notes on their instrument to warm up a bit and probably
test the pitch of the instrument. As more and more get up on the stage, the sound of them rehearsing
feel more and more chaotic, confusing and hard to follow, reminding me of Stravinski s work. All of
the sudden, they stop and start playing harmoniously a few notes thus inviting the conductor on the
stage the concert was about to start.
Before the main performance, there were two shorter pieces, Ibert s Bacchanale and Dusapin s
Outscape. In retrospec,t both were wonderful choices as a prelude to Holst s The Planets as I felt the
three pieces fit well together when put back to back and they even inspired to me an overarching
message.
Jacques Ibert s Bacchanale was composed in 1956, only 6 years before it s author s death. Unlike his
previous compositions which were marked by the tension and turmoil of the interwar period and
World War 2, Bacchanale is the culmination of his rather wild and hard to pigeonhole style. The title
evokes the Roman festival bearing the same name, a tribute to the wine god Bacchus. Bacchanalia
were notorious for the excessive drinking, dancing and performing for as long as the participants
could remain standing and they were living proof of the carefree lifestyle Romans could afford to
have.
The composition itself mirrors this style, having as a

Overview of Breast Cancer Essay
If you or a loved one were diagnosed with breast cancer, how would you feel? You would probably
feel very afraid and worried. Breast cancer is a common and potentially deadly form of cancer that
affects both men and women. There are risk factors for getting the disease and there are different types
of treatment for people who have been diagnosed with the disease. There are also steps that people can
take to try to prevent getting breast cancer or at least catch it early. Luckily there are many
organizations working to raise awareness of the disease, to educate the public about it, and to support
research about it. Breast cancer is a kind of cancer that begins in breast cells. Breast cancer can be

More than 2.9 million U.S. women with a history of breast cancer were alive on January 1, 2012.
There are some known risk factors for developing breast cancer. Women are at a higher risk than men.
Older women are at an increased risk, as most new cases and most deaths occurred in women over the
age of 50. There may be a genetic risk for some people; however, most breast cancer is not hereditary.
However, if a person has had breast cancer once they are more likely to develop it again. Other risk
factors include having very dense breast tissue, beginning menstruating before age 12, going through
menopause after age 55, being overweight, using hormone replacement therapy during menopause,
not having any children, or having your first child after the age of 35. While there is no absolute way
to prevent getting breast cancer, there are some things a woman can do to lower her risk of getting it.
First, she should limit the amount of alcohol she drinks. Next, she should not smoke cigarettes. Third,
she should lose weight if they need to, as being overweight or obese increases the risk of breast
cancer. Fourth, she should exercise regularly. Exercising can help maintain a healthy weight which
helps prevent breast cancer. Getting regular medical care and examining her body for symptoms of
breast cancer are also important. Women should examine their own breasts for the signs of breast
cancer regularly. Women should also have a

Reaction Paper On Birth Control
In between the years of 1914 up until 1921 of the birth control pill was starting to be developed.
Activist Margaret Sanger opens the first birth control clinic in Brownsville, Brooklyn, and starts the
American Birth Control League, the precursor to Planned Parenthood. A few years later, in 1934, an
Endocrinologist Gregory Pincus uses a test tube and a rabbit to help develop a contraceptive device.
About seventeen years later, specifically in 1951, Sanger meets Pincus at a party in New York, and
this is where Sanger persuades Pincus to help out with work on a birth control pill. Meanwhile, in that
same year another chemist from Mexico city, named Carl Djerassi, creates a similar pill. He does this
by synthesizing hormones from Mexican yams. Even though pill has been invented, Djerassi isn t
equipped to test, to produce, or to even distribute it. This in turn means that Sanger and Djerassi are
competing in a way. About a year later, in 1952 Gregory Pincus tests progesterone in rats. From this
experiment Pincus figures out that it actually works. Afterwards, he meets gynecologist named John
Rock. Rock already began testing a chemical contraception for women. The next year, Katherine
McCormick who is a biologist, a women s rights activist, writes Pincus a check for $40,000 to conduct
research into furthering research about the pill. From this large amount of money, Rock and Pincus are
able to conduct the one of the first human trials. The trials is based off of fifty women that

The Benefits Of Community Gardening
Another aspect of community gardening, is regarding those who participate in it. Community gardens
can be seen in many cities, with the community coming together to grow produce and relationships
along the way. However, it is becoming a growing trend to start this idea at a younger scale. Many
schools across North America have started implementing a garden into their after school or
extracurricular programs. By introducing gardening to children at a young age allows for them to take
in many of the benefits that come from gardening, and encouraging new ways of engagement.
Gardening provides many hands on activities for children, including designing, planting, and
harvesting the food (Yost, 2009). Many studies have shown that children who take care of a garden, or
live near one, are more likely to show an interest in gardening as they grow up and develop a strong
relationship with gardens and trees (Lohr, 2005).
In California, school gardens have become very popular and are continuously promoting them through
the State s Education Department. An example of one of the schools in the state is Le Conte
Elementary School, which not only has flowers and vegetables, but also livestock, like goats and
chickens. The science curriculum at the school is very inclusive with gardening activities, such as
propagation, transplanting, and composting (Ferris, 2001).
There have been many studies on the effects of school gardens on children. They have shown that

The Second Most Important Man Towards Christianity
Question:
Analyse the contribution that Paul of Tarsus had on the development and expression of Christianity.
Paul of Tarsus or Saint Paul is considered by many Christians today to be the most important disciple
of Jesus, and beside this the second important found in the development of Christianity. Saint Paul had
a major impact on the spread of Christianity, contributing to the underlying unity of the religious
tradition by helping expand Jesus original teachings into a developed integrated belief system.

He became an advocate for the inclusion of the Gentiles among the true followers of Christianity.
Until Paul s challenge, Jewish Christians believed that non Jews had to convert to Judaism and follow
the law, which included restrictions and circumcision. Gentiles who worship in the synagogue but did
not become proselytes were called god fearers and were only second class citizens in the synagogue.
As the Gentiles did not follow kashruth, many Christian Jews refused to eat with Christian Gentiles,
believing them to be unclean and not acceptable. This had implications for church fellowship and for
the ritual celebration of the Lord s Supper. Paul challenged this belief, (Galatians 2: 11 14) most
strongly at the Council of Jerusalem in 50 CE. This lead to the decision by the early Christian leaders
to enable Gentiles as well as Jews to be followers of Jesus of Nazareth and to call themselves
Christians.
Permitting freedom from the laws of kashruth and circumcision allowed Christianity to spread more
freely amongst the Gentiles and is why Paul is so significant today. (Christianity vs. Judaism

Paul s writings on social issues were just as influential on the life and beliefs of the Christian culture,
and are still considered part and parcel of the broader Christian doctrine by the more conservative
Christians.

Major John Andre, Harriet Tubman, Julia Child, And James Bond
Major John André, Harriet Tubman, Julia Child, and James Bond. What do these people all have in
common? They were all spies. Major John André worked for the British during the American
Revolution, relaying important information back to England (Bhatt). Harriet Tubman worked for the
Yankees, helping slaves escape during the Civil War. Julia Child handled many classified documents
during World War II, including papers about the invasion of the Malay Peninsula ( A Look Back...

will explore the significance of the OSS, brief biographies of influential female spies in World War II,
and the tactics used in World War II. So, what exactly is a spy? Merriam Webster defines one as a
person employed by one nation to secretly convey classified information of strategic importance to
another nation ( Spy ). In other words, a spy is someone who looks for secrets and/or plans of one
country to give to the country in which their loyalties lie. This definition well describes spies in World
War II. During World War II, spies and espionage became more prominent. This time period marks the
beginning of a kind of background espionage, meaning an emphasis on decoding and looking into the
media for hidden messages rather than primarily going into enemy territory and eavesdropping or
sneaking around. This was also when women, specifically in America and England, obtained the

Tragic Heroism in Shakespeare s Antony And Cleopatra Essay
In the tragedy Antony and Cleopatra , Shakespeare presents our protagonist Mark Antony as a tragic
hero. He does this by using a number of dramatically effective methods, including language, staging
techniques and structure. Aristotle defines a tragic hero as a character of noble stature who has a tragic
flaw (usually hubris which is over confidence/arrogance) and suffers a downfall that is partially their
fault but also due to factors beyond their control. The downfall they suffer exceeds the crime but the
tragic hero gains some sort of self awareness.
Before the audience meets Antony, Shakespeare presents us with two soldiers discussing Antony s
current debauched life. This is dramatically effective staging because they are acting ... Show more

excellent soldiership and virtus qualities. Virtus was the Roman ideal of male force and energy:
military prowess coupled with devotion to one s honour and fame. Antony had to drink/the stale of
horses and eat strange flesh and the bark of trees in order to stay alive and he was borne so like a
soldier that thy cheek...lanked not. These striking images paint an unfathomable scene of heroic
endurance which the audience respects and admires.
The audience is privy to a private conversation in Caesar s home between Caesar and Lepidus, who
were the other two thirds of the triple pillar of the world the triumvirate. The triumvirate were a
powerful political and military force; they ruled the Roman Empire after the murder of Julius Caesar.
During this conversation, they discuss Antony s debauched life and his former greatness in Caesar s
home where Caesar feels free to express his opinions honestly and he declares that Antony is a man
who is abstract of all faults and someone who would give a kingdom for mirth. This shows us how far
he has fallen in Caesar s eyes as his tone would be scathing and I imagine he would be pacing as he
ranted about Antony

Sleeping and Dreaming Essay
Sleeping and Dreaming
Despite the large amount of time we spend asleep, surprisingly little is actually known about sleeping
and dreaming. Much has been imagined, however. Over history, sleep has been conceived as the space
of the soul, as a state of absence akin to death, as a virtual or alternate reality, and more recently, as a
form of (sub)consciousness in which memories are built and erased. The significance attributed to
dreams has varied widely as well. The Ancient Greeks had surprise dream encounters with their gods.
Native Americans turned to their dreams for guidance in life. Shamans dreamed in order to gather
information from the spirits.
Sleep and dreams have defined eras, cultures, and individuals. Sigmund Freud s ... Show more content

His knowledge of advances in biomedical sleep research (which is vibrant at Penn) will complement
the Mellon Fellows cultural and historical perspectives on the subject arising from books, paintings,
sculptures, movies, music, and other forms of culture.
According to Professor Van Dongen, the functions of sleep and dreams are still largely unclear to
scientists. Whereas artists and humanists have long been concerned with sleep and dream states, the
sciences mostly ignored it until the discovery was made that there is brain activity during sleep. It has
now been documented that sleep is a necessity for health, for well being, for the ability to think clearly
that is, for the overall quality of wakefulness. While much is known about the neurobiological
underpinnings of sleep and dreams, however, the reasons behind these processes are still a mystery,
and the question what are sleeping and dreaming for? awaits definitive answers. Under the
circumstances, humanists have much to offer, not only to each other but to science as well, for the
understanding of this fundamental aspect of life.
Myths and Facts about sleeping :
1. Snoring is a common problem, especially among men, but it isn t harmful.
Although snoring may be harmless for most people, it can be a symptom of a life threatening sleep
disorder called sleep apnea, especially if it is accompanied by severe daytime sleepiness. Sleep apnea

How The Music Business Has Made Much Progress Since Those...
The music business has made much progress since those horrible days of the mono recordings. In
those days, craftsmen, makers, and specialists didn t have any options on what gear that would use to
complete their recordings. With the headway in innovation and new developments always being made
in the music business, the open doors are interminable. On the off chance that you turn up the meaning
of innovation you will see the words business and trade, which to me just means development and
improvement. Innovation has and will keep on influencing development and improvement in the
music business. With the development of innovation, the specialized end of delivering and designing
has turned out to be fairly snappier undertaking. For instance, the presentation of framework ongoing
messages synchronized drum machines, arrangements, and other musical gadgets. Framework
continuous messages are dropped into the information stream as required and have needed over

advances in innovation has permitted these gadgets to work with timing tickers so everything does not

Foreign Exchange Rates And Hedging Options
Foreign Exchange Rates and Hedging Options
There are three hedging options that are commonly used. Hedge is to reduce losses due to volatility of
foreign exchange rates. Hedging instruments use options and futures which are derivative instruments.
One type of hedging is using a forward contract. This method is to lock in a FX position that would
provide stability and not succumb to the fluctuations of FX rates. By locking in an FX rate, it gives the
company the right to the currency exchange rate specified for a future time. This means that if FX is to
adverse or benefit of FX will be minimized for the future.
Another technique to minimize FX risk is to purchase options. The purchaser of an option sets an
exchange rate at a future date that the purchaser may exchange at. If the FX is beneficial, the
purchaser may execute reaping the gains, however if the FX is unfavorable, the purchaser will not
exercise.
A third instrument is to hedge using currency exchange traded fund (ETF). Purchasing currency ETFs
on the stock market allows the purchaser to either buy or short sell the stock to mitigate FX risk. As
the ETF is correlated to the fluctuations of FX, if rates are favorable the stock price will appreciate,
whereas rates are unfavorable the stock price will depreciate.
To improve internal controls in reconciliation, GWL should provide proper foreign exchange training

The Peloponnesian war which was fought in 431 404 BCE happened in ancient Greece and was
between two city states, Athens and Sparta. Athens had an alliance with coastal states and most of the
island states that boarded the shores of the Aegean Sea to the north and eastern side. Sparta, on the
other hand, had formed an alliance with all other independent states that formed central Greece and
Corinth, Sparta leading the alliance. Athens navy was strong and also Sparta s army was equally
strong. The advantage of Athens was that it was financially stable and very well prepared than their
enemies. Both states were proud and none could stand accepting the other s requests. It would mean

Athens declined. Pericles also brought the downfall of Athens when he became emotional for the
death of his sons and found that leading the battles against the Spartans was no longer important and
he became weak. The Spartans dominated and the powerful ruler died and this brought a great disaster

The Irish Easter Rebellion 1916 Essay
The 1916 Irish Easter Uprising
Ever since the occupation of Ireland by the English began in 1169, Irish patriots have fought back
against British rule, and the many Irish rebellions and civil wars had always been defeated. To quash
further rebellion, the Act of Union was imposed in 1800, tying Ireland to the United Kingdom of
England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Laws discriminating against Catholics and the handling of the
Irish Potato Famine of 1845 50 led to increased tension and the proposal of introducing Home Rule
gained support.
In 1913 there was a general strike of workers in Dublin led by James Connolly of the Irish Transport
and General Workers Union (I.T.G.W.U.). This action was followed by the 1913 Lock Out during

It was a call for a blood sacrifice in order to free Ireland from British rule. In organising an uprising,
the funeral was proof that the Volunteers could organise when secretly directed by the I.R.B. and on
St. Patrick s Day (17th March), Connolly took his Citizen Army on a tour of key Dublin sites which
could be used as strategic strongholds during an uprising.
However, there were many difficulties in organising and executing such a rebellion and one thing the
rebels needed were weapons. Sir Roger Casement had organised for a shipment of as many as 200,000
rifles to be smuggled into Ireland on a neutral German freighter, the Aud. But when Casement arrived
in Ireland on a German submarine he was arrested immediately and the freighter was intercepted by
the Royal Navy and scuttled itself. Another attempt was made to gain large quantities of arms and
ammunition during the actual uprising from the arsenal at Phoenix Park known as Magazine Fort.
However this was not very successful and the rebels seized only a few rifles.
Throughout the organisation of the rebellion, Eoin MacNeill, leader of the minority Volunteers had to
be kept in the dark about the I.R.B. s plans because he believed that his Irish Volunteers should only

Analysis Of The Film Figural
Figural Portray: American Art in Nineteen Centaury
The artwork is an aesthetic autonomous expression by someone on something. This means that
artwork always has a life of its own that is very separate and different from other affairs of human
beings. The artist making the art will always define the purposes and the functions of his/her arts.
Sometimes it may be the public or the market of the arts that will define the functions of the arts.
Expression by artists through artwork has always expressed, reflected, and influenced the cultures,
places, and time from which the art itself always evolves. The art can also be used for social and
media criticism and that means it helps in objecting to reality. Some people also use artwork as a tool
for knowledge creation and research. It has also got some very important social benefits like bringing
happiness to different people.
The two arts work displayed at Los Angeles County Museum of Art have been selected to demonstrate
how figures of human beings are portrayed through artwork. Both artworks are analyzed to see that
how far they are similar and different to each other but still hold true to their own philosophies, ethics
and values to create a definite style. Thomas Eakins painting Wrestlers, 1899, oil on canvas, 122.9 ×
152.4 cm and Mary Cassatt painting Mother About to Wash Her Sleepy Child, 1880, oil on canvas,

The Community Of Lgbt Workers Essay
Since the beginning of their existence and in today s society, the community of LGBT workers are not
being treated fairly or getting their fair share that they deserve in the workplace. They are victims to
high rates of workplace discrimination. Instead of being judged as workers and what they bring to
their jobs and how they work, they are being judged by their sexual preferences and appearance.
Being a gay or transgender worker causes them to be mistreated, not judged for the actual workers
they are, and most importantly, halts a majority of them in better career and job opportunities.
Although under federal law it is illegal to fire someone who is either gay or transgender, they are still
either being denied employment or being terminated from their jobs because of their gender category
or sexual orientation.
A great amount of problems still exist in LGBT workplaces, rights in the sphere have evolved and
there are signs for a better and brighter future for the community. The government has announced that
it will be advancing legislation to amend section 37.1 of the employment equality act, which currently
allows religious run institutions, such as schools and hospitals to discriminate against LGBT
employees. But the amendment will not protect every worker, as Rob Buchanan reports.
(BUCHANAN)
Both gay and transgender individuals continue to face widespread discrimination in their workplace.
They are being judged by factors that have no impact on how they perform and

Socrates s Views On Socrates
Socrates could undeniably be described as one of the most influential philosophers and greatest
thinker of his time. His views can be interpreted many different ways, but most would agree that he
sought out wisdom and truth for the betterment of himself and his community. Though Socrates was
one of the most intelligent men of his time, he was very foolish to never write his own book. For this
reason, after his passing, one of his students, Plato, began to write a book about his teachings and
ideas called Plato: Five Dialogues. In this book, we examined Plato s Meno in which Meno asks
Socrates can virtue be taught? but, Socrates quickly transforms this question into what is virtue? . This
questions ultimately consumes the entirety of this dialogue, and in the end, Meno proves to lack
originality in his arguments by simply agreeing with each thing Socrates states. While Meno thought
he knew the answer to this question, Socrates provides a different opinion. Although Meno does not
learn anything in the course of this dialogue, Socrates still remains one of the most influential teachers
and philosophers of his time. In this essay I shall focus on the question of who is Socrates, next I will
examine what teaching and learning really mean, and finally I will conclude with the fact that Meno
does not actually learn anything from Socrates.
Socrates, born in 470 BC in Athens, Greece, knew from a very young age the profound love and
passion he carried for philosophy. His unendingly

Black Males In America Often Suffer The Consequences Of
Black males in America often suffer the consequences of stereotypical judgment placed upon them.
Because of the conventional image given to black males, they immediately have to deal with the
repercussions of social inequality. In what some consider White America , white males have always
been thought to have white privilege. Black males have been abused for hundreds of years, dating way
back to slavery which began in the 1600 s.
In 1940, Richard Wright wrote a book that later became one of the greatest novels of American
Literature. The book focuses on a young black male who takes a terrible journey after killing a white
woman out of fear. Foster writes, Political writing that engages the realities of its world that thinks

then pour hydrochloric acid on his body to make the identity of the body become more difficult. Loeb

was unharmed. The couple sent a ransom note the following day, requesting ten thousand dollars, The

The Breakfast Club and Teen Identity
The movie The Breakfast Club takes viewers on a comedic tour of the ups and downs of adolescence.
The Breakfast Club, directed by John Hughes, focuses on the events that unfold between five very
different high school students during a Saturday detention. Even though the movie was shot in the
1980 s the characters portrayal is still relatable in a way to a lot of people today. Director John Hughes
takes us on a comedic ride with what seems like another typical teen movie while still portraying a
few life lessons along the way and exposing some truths behind stereotyping. Anyone who has ever
been a high school student can probably find some way to relate to the characters in the film. The
movie revolves around 5 students who for various reasons have been sent to Saturday detention by
principle Vernon. The principle asks each of the students to write a one page paper on who they think
they are. As the day progresses, we see the teens begin to bond with each other and find out about
each other and themselves. The film begins by introducing each of the five characters. John Hughes
gives us five common archetypes with each of his characters including: a jock, a popular princess, a
geek, a criminal, and basket case. These generic characters make it easier for the audience to relate to
one of the characters in the film. Andy, the jock, is the generic high school athlete, or so it seems.

  • 2. A Brave New World Cloning Analysis The idea of cloning has been around for decades, and some scientist have even utilized this process. In the story Brave New World by Aldous Huxley the author presents the process of cloning by using hatcheries instead of natural reproduction, which no longer exists, to create individuals. Individuals in society are given different doses of lethal drugs to alter development so that they meet the standards based on their pre determined social classes. The concept of cloning is used to propagate another organism or cell to create an exact copy of its original without the use of natural reproduction. This process has been very successful with the cloning of animals, cells, and even a recent human experiment. In the case of cloning, the power of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Thatcher and Thatcherism Essay Thatcher and Thatcherism It is now twenty years since Margaret Thatcher was elected Prime Minister of Great Britain, and over eight years since she left office. So this seems a good opportunity to look back at what Thatcher and Thatcherism may have achieved, and what may be the lessons for today. I must start with a disclaimer. I m the British High Commissioner and normally speak on behalf of the British Government in Australia. But I hope you will realise that in addressing a subject such as this I am speaking in a personal capacity. I am not quite sure what the Foreign Office would say if I asked them for the official line on Thatcherism. Given some of their run ins with her on foreign policy, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... But the bulk of my career was in fact working for Ministers who to a greater or lesser extent fell out with her. Nigel Lawson, who was Chancellor of the Exchequer, and in many ways one of those who most closely shared her philosophy on freeing markets and on cutting spending and taxes. But who disagreed with her strongly on exchange rate policy and on the poll tax, leading eventually to his resignation. And then I worked for John Major, when he was Prime Minister, and in effect her anointed successor. But who found it hard sometimes to cope with the voices off from Mrs Thatcher or her friends criticising him for not following her policies or her advice. So I welcome this opportunity to step back and reflect on Thatcher and Thatcherism. By any standard, she is a remarkable figure. The longest serving British Prime Minister this century. The only one to have won three successive General Elections and indeed she was never defeated at a General Election. The only woman Prime Minister. The only one with an ism associated with her. I want to concentrate on her period as Prime Minister. But I first should put it in context by setting out some of the background. For she became Prime Minister at a time when some of the accepted nostrums that had guided British ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. The Issue Of A Great Amount Of Money $ 4 Million Introduction I am a senior accountant working for Cape Tisbe International (CTI) and am writing this business report concerning the issue of a great amount of money $4 million that has been paid to a PNG government minister as Consulting Fees recently. In this report, I would like to identify the fact , the issues needed to be tackled, and then discuss the possible consequences derived from those issues, subsequently I will offer some plausible solutions in tackling this issue in a long run development. . Facts A year ago, CTI signed a contract for farm machinery, worth $25 million, with Papua New Guinea(PNG). Recently, however, when I was conducting the annual internal audit, I have discovered some issues associated with this signed contract. As soon as I found something wrong with the contract s accounting records I communicated with George but his answer has not addressed my confusion. Soon after that I had a chat with my boss Gareth because it was my duty to identify and reveal any detailed information related to CTI s financial records. after the conversation with both of them, I decided to dig it further. Now I discover that the actual sale revenue of the contract was $21 million as around $4 million has been paid to a PNG government minister as Consulting Fees . I understand that the payment was paid to a certain person in order to secure the contract and maximize the wealth of our company. According to the relevant regulations and rules provided by both ... • 5. Using Technology Into Your Classroom Creating a WebQuest In many classrooms today, the use of technology is becoming more popular in the classrooms. Many teachers are incorporating the use of technology into their lessons and methods of teaching. One way to introduce technology into your classroom is to create a WebQuest. What is a WebQuest you may ask? Well, a WebQuest is an inquiry base lesson format where students take information they are given and create new information to make meaningful projects that they can present in different ways. In other words, students go on a quest using the web to find answers to the questions given or complete a task, learning more on the subject while doing so. Why use a WebQuest A WebQuest is an interactive way to get students involved in the lesson, promotes higher level thinking, and gets students more familiar with different aspects of the Internet. So, whether you are an education student new to the topic or an experienced teacher educator looking for new methods involving technology, learning how to make a WebQuest is a useful tool to have. A few tips before beginning. 1. Become familiar with resources available online. 2. Find topics that fit within the curriculum and which there are materials online. It makes sense to choose a project that couldn t be done as well without web access. 3. Choose a template that fits the subject and classroom. Pre made templates can be found online, or one can be created in Word, Powerpoint, even Excel. Keep in mind of what ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. Richard Nixon s Impact On The Nation In his first couple of months in the oval office, Richard Nixon positively impacted the nation. As did most previous presidents do, Nixon had put himself right into action making sure he could build up and maintain and good reputation in office. But soon after completing his first term, disaster struck just as reelection was coming up. Nixon had destroyed his reputation, and by doing so showed the people how easy it was to be successful at a point and then lose it all due to one event, Watergate. Paul H. Elovitz, who teaches at Farleigh Dickinson University and is a founding faculty member of Ramapo College of New Jersey, begins to break down Nixon s scenario. Nixon worked hard for all the goals he reached, but as it is emphasized, Nixon s major failure brought his reputation to the dumps. We can see that Elovitz wanted readers to see how one man can achieve so much for so long, then lose everything because of one event. In Edward D. Berkowitz s early books about what occurred in the seventies, both cultural and political, he discusses the topic of the Watergate scandal, viewing it more as a criminal act and misuse in power that develops from a spoiled and corrupted mind. I truly believe that Nixon s purpose for the misuse in power came from his corrupted mind that desired more power and recognition from the American people. We do not see Edward jump right into the Watergate scandal, but work his way up to it following events that may or may not have changed Nixon s desire for power. When Edward begins to discuss the scandal, he opens with in his zeal to win, which comes to mind as Nixon stopping at nothing to pursue victory, even at great risks. Later being involved in the Watergate scandal, we learn that Nixon was entangled with the scandal (Berkowitz 19). Part of Nixon s staff had broken into the Watergate hotel in attempt to bug the Democratic National Headquarters. As explained by Berkowitz, Nixon s men were no ordinary burglars, but ... Technology And The Virtual Consciousness Mind transferring requires an in depth understanding of how the brain works, interactions between the original and the virtual counterpart, and a stimulated world for the virtual consciousness. Dvorsky doesn t believe that mind transferring would be possible due to lack of knowledge about the consciousness, or how to map out a stimulation to understand complex thoughts that humans have. And if we tried to experiment with this, wouldn t subjects be injured during the process? Cryonics is the theory of freezing people, and then reanimating them in the future. In my childhood, we heard these rumors of Disney keeping Walt Disney s head frozen in hopes of reanimating him when the technology came. There was a TV series, Out of Jimmy s Head, that parodied this rumor, and played around with the subject of cryogenically frozen brain transplants. Even though the boy had his brain switched for the cartoonist s frozen brain, he still had his own conscious, but with the hallucinations of the cartoonist s. However, this is a TV series that appeared on Cartoon Network, so this insight may have been an oversight in their planning. The reason cryonics is in development was so that if a person had cancer, or lung cancer like Walt Disney, they could be frozen and reanimated once a cure is found. And there are some people who wished to be living fossils, or to see the future with their own eyes. This concept was also seen in Futurama, as Fry tripped into an ice chamber until he was unfrozen in 3000. The main problem is trying to preserve human tissue by freezing it is that water in the tissue forms ice and causes damage (Thomson). • 11. I Am Waiting For The Concert Sunday, May 29th 2016, 2:55PM: I am waiting for the concert to begin as I watch the musicians walk onto the stage one by one, rehearsing a few notes on their instrument to warm up a bit and probably test the pitch of the instrument. As more and more get up on the stage, the sound of them rehearsing feel more and more chaotic, confusing and hard to follow, reminding me of Stravinski s work. All of the sudden, they stop and start playing harmoniously a few notes thus inviting the conductor on the stage the concert was about to start. Before the main performance, there were two shorter pieces, Ibert s Bacchanale and Dusapin s Outscape. In retrospec,t both were wonderful choices as a prelude to Holst s The Planets as I felt the three pieces fit well together when put back to back and they even inspired to me an overarching message. Jacques Ibert s Bacchanale was composed in 1956, only 6 years before it s author s death. Unlike his previous compositions which were marked by the tension and turmoil of the interwar period and World War 2, Bacchanale is the culmination of his rather wild and hard to pigeonhole style. The title evokes the Roman festival bearing the same name, a tribute to the wine god Bacchus. Bacchanalia were notorious for the excessive drinking, dancing and performing for as long as the participants could remain standing and they were living proof of the carefree lifestyle Romans could afford to have. The composition itself mirrors this style, having as a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

More than 2.9 million U.S. women with a history of breast cancer were alive on January 1, 2012. There are some known risk factors for developing breast cancer. Women are at a higher risk than men. Older women are at an increased risk, as most new cases and most deaths occurred in women over the age of 50. There may be a genetic risk for some people; however, most breast cancer is not hereditary. However, if a person has had breast cancer once they are more likely to develop it again. Other risk factors include having very dense breast tissue, beginning menstruating before age 12, going through menopause after age 55, being overweight, using hormone replacement therapy during menopause, not having any children, or having your first child after the age of 35. While there is no absolute way to prevent getting breast cancer, there are some things a woman can do to lower her risk of getting it. First, she should limit the amount of alcohol she drinks. Next, she should not smoke cigarettes. Third, she should lose weight if they need to, as being overweight or obese increases the risk of breast cancer. Fourth, she should exercise regularly. Exercising can help maintain a healthy weight which helps prevent breast cancer. Getting regular medical care and examining her body for symptoms of breast cancer are also important. Activist Margaret Sanger opens the first birth control clinic in Brownsville, Brooklyn, and starts the American Birth Control League, the precursor to Planned Parenthood. A few years later, in 1934, an Endocrinologist Gregory Pincus uses a test tube and a rabbit to help develop a contraceptive device. About seventeen years later, specifically in 1951, Sanger meets Pincus at a party in New York, and this is where Sanger persuades Pincus to help out with work on a birth control pill. Meanwhile, in that same year another chemist from Mexico city, named Carl Djerassi, creates a similar pill. He does this by synthesizing hormones from Mexican yams. Even though pill has been invented, Djerassi isn t equipped to test, to produce, or to even distribute it. This in turn means that Sanger and Djerassi are competing in a way. About a year later, in 1952 Gregory Pincus tests progesterone in rats. From this experiment Pincus figures out that it actually works. Afterwards, he meets gynecologist named John Rock. Rock already began testing a chemical contraception for women. The next year, Katherine McCormick who is a biologist, a women s rights activist, writes Pincus a check for $40,000 to conduct research into furthering research about the pill. • 15. The Benefits Of Community Gardening Another aspect of community gardening, is regarding those who participate in it. Community gardens can be seen in many cities, with the community coming together to grow produce and relationships along the way. However, it is becoming a growing trend to start this idea at a younger scale. Many schools across North America have started implementing a garden into their after school or extracurricular programs. By introducing gardening to children at a young age allows for them to take in many of the benefits that come from gardening, and encouraging new ways of engagement. Gardening provides many hands on activities for children, including designing, planting, and harvesting the food (Yost, 2009). Many studies have shown that children who take care of a garden, or live near one, are more likely to show an interest in gardening as they grow up and develop a strong relationship with gardens and trees (Lohr, 2005). In California, school gardens have become very popular and are continuously promoting them through the State s Education Department. An example of one of the schools in the state is Le Conte Elementary School, which not only has flowers and vegetables, but also livestock, like goats and chickens. The science curriculum at the school is very inclusive with gardening activities, such as propagation, transplanting, and composting (Ferris, 2001). Paul of Tarsus or Saint Paul is considered by many Christians today to be the most important disciple of Jesus, and beside this the second important found in the development of Christianity. Saint Paul had a major impact on the spread of Christianity, contributing to the underlying unity of the religious tradition by helping expand Jesus original teachings into a developed integrated belief system. He became an advocate for the inclusion of the Gentiles among the true followers of Christianity. Until Paul s challenge, Jewish Christians believed that non Jews had to convert to Judaism and follow the law, which included restrictions and circumcision. Gentiles who worship in the synagogue but did not become proselytes were called god fearers and were only second class citizens in the synagogue. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumcision_controversy_in_early_Christianity) As the Gentiles did not follow kashruth, many Christian Jews refused to eat with Christian Gentiles, believing them to be unclean and not acceptable. This had implications for church fellowship and for the ritual celebration of the Lord s Supper. Paul challenged this belief, (Galatians 2: 11 14) most strongly at the Council of Jerusalem in 50 CE. This lead to the decision by the early Christian leaders to enable Gentiles as well as Jews to be followers of Jesus of Nazareth and to call themselves Christians. Permitting freedom from the laws of kashruth and circumcision allowed Christianity to spread more freely amongst the Gentiles and is why Paul is so significant today. • 22. Tragic Heroism in Shakespeare s Antony And Cleopatra Essay In the tragedy Antony and Cleopatra , Shakespeare presents our protagonist Mark Antony as a tragic hero. He does this by using a number of dramatically effective methods, including language, staging techniques and structure. Aristotle defines a tragic hero as a character of noble stature who has a tragic flaw (usually hubris which is over confidence/arrogance) and suffers a downfall that is partially their fault but also due to factors beyond their control. The downfall they suffer exceeds the crime but the tragic hero gains some sort of self awareness. Another soldier calls him the god of Jupiter which elevates Antony s status to that of a great leader, because Jupiter was the leader amongst all the other gods. Philo compares him to Mars, the god of war, which shows elevates his stature to be one of equal rank with a god. Caesar recalls Antony s excellent soldiership and virtus qualities. Virtus was the Roman ideal of male force and energy: military prowess coupled with devotion to one s honour and fame. Antony had to drink/the stale of horses and eat strange flesh and the bark of trees in order to stay alive and he was borne so like a soldier that thy cheek...lanked not. These striking images paint an unfathomable scene of heroic endurance which the audience respects and admires. The audience is privy to a private conversation in Caesar s home between Caesar and Lepidus, who were the other two thirds of the triple pillar of the world the triumvirate. The triumvirate were a powerful political and military force; they ruled the Roman Empire after the murder of Julius Caesar. During this conversation, they discuss Antony s debauched life and his former greatness in Caesar s home where Caesar feels free to express his opinions honestly and he declares that Antony is a man who is abstract of all faults and someone who would give a kingdom for mirth. This shows us how far he has fallen in Caesar s eyes as his tone would be scathing and I imagine he would be pacing as he ranted about Antony ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 25. Foreign Exchange Rates And Hedging Options Foreign Exchange Rates and Hedging Options There are three hedging options that are commonly used. Hedge is to reduce losses due to volatility of foreign exchange rates. Hedging instruments use options and futures which are derivative instruments. One type of hedging is using a forward contract. This method is to lock in a FX position that would provide stability and not succumb to the fluctuations of FX rates. By locking in an FX rate, it gives the company the right to the currency exchange rate specified for a future time. This means that if FX is to adverse or benefit of FX will be minimized for the future. Another technique to minimize FX risk is to purchase options. The purchaser of an option sets an exchange rate at a future date that the purchaser may exchange at. If the FX is beneficial, the purchaser may execute reaping the gains, however if the FX is unfavorable, the purchaser will not exercise. A third instrument is to hedge using currency exchange traded fund (ETF). Purchasing currency ETFs on the stock market allows the purchaser to either buy or short sell the stock to mitigate FX risk. As the ETF is correlated to the fluctuations of FX, if rates are favorable the stock price will appreciate, whereas rates are unfavorable the stock price will depreciate. The Community Of Lgbt Workers Essay Since the beginning of their existence and in today s society, the community of LGBT workers are not being treated fairly or getting their fair share that they deserve in the workplace. They are victims to high rates of workplace discrimination. Instead of being judged as workers and what they bring to their jobs and how they work, they are being judged by their sexual preferences and appearance. Being a gay or transgender worker causes them to be mistreated, not judged for the actual workers they are, and most importantly, halts a majority of them in better career and job opportunities. Although under federal law it is illegal to fire someone who is either gay or transgender, they are still either being denied employment or being terminated from their jobs because of their gender category or sexual orientation. • 30. Socrates s Views On Socrates Socrates could undeniably be described as one of the most influential philosophers and greatest thinker of his time. His views can be interpreted many different ways, but most would agree that he sought out wisdom and truth for the betterment of himself and his community. Though Socrates was one of the most intelligent men of his time, he was very foolish to never write his own book. For this reason, after his passing, one of his students, Plato, began to write a book about his teachings and ideas called Plato: Five Dialogues. In this book, we examined Plato s Meno in which Meno asks Socrates can virtue be taught? but, Socrates quickly transforms this question into what is virtue? . This questions ultimately consumes the entirety of this dialogue, and in the end, Meno proves to lack originality in his arguments by simply agreeing with each thing Socrates states. While Meno thought he knew the answer to this question, Socrates provides a different opinion. Although Meno does not learn anything in the course of this dialogue, Socrates still remains one of the most influential teachers and philosophers of his time. In this essay I shall focus on the question of who is Socrates, next I will examine what teaching and learning really mean, and finally I will conclude with the fact that Meno does not actually learn anything from Socrates. The Breakfast Club, directed by John Hughes, focuses on the events that unfold between five very different high school students during a Saturday detention. Even though the movie was shot in the 1980 s the characters portrayal is still relatable in a way to a lot of people today. Director John Hughes takes us on a comedic ride with what seems like another typical teen movie while still portraying a few life lessons along the way and exposing some truths behind stereotyping. Anyone who has ever been a high school student can probably find some way to relate to the characters in the film. The movie revolves around 5 students who for various reasons have been sent to Saturday detention by principle Vernon. The principle asks each of the students to write a one page paper on who they think they are. As the day progresses, we see the teens begin to bond with each other and find out about each other and themselves. The film begins by introducing each of the five characters.
