Assistive Touch: Operating a smartphone with physical disabilities
For some smartphone users with mobility disabilities, even the seemingly
simple task of operating that phone can be difficult. Assistive Touch
mobile app, activating smartphone operations are much easier.
It also offers virtual buttons that allow users to navigate a device without
actually having to touch it. Virtual home buttons, back buttons, screenshot
buttons, and volume control — even turning the device on and off — are
suddenly simple tasks to perform. Available for Android and iOS users.
Apps can be used either on smartphones or desktops to solve a variety of daily challenges.

Time to move away from charity or only Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). • Improvements pursued by a corporation to streamline their process for improved accessibility and inclusion within its workforce are providing differentiators for brands. • Brands must realize that these efforts provide increased productivity for its employees and better solutions for their customers (with and without disabilities). Equating to positive ROI. Resulting in competitive advantages and larger returns to the Shareholders. 4

Business and SDGs 5 Businesses, government and civil society must play an active role in collaborative solutions to address the world’s most pressing societal challenges described in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). “Unilever’s whole business model is geared towards the SDGs, and that all 300 brands they have globally are to the purpose of the SDGs. The app connects blind and low-vision individuals with sighted volunteers and companies from all over the world through a live video call. Hans Jørgen Wiberg Since their launch in January 2015, more than 2,000,000 volunteers have signed up to assist blind and low-vision users. Be My Eyes App Be My Eyes users can request assistance in over 180 languages making the app the biggest online community for blind and low-vision people and the largest micro-volunteering platforms in world!

Tech4Good, Tech4All – People with Mobility Issues 12 Assistive Touch: Operating a smartphone with physical disabilities For some smartphone users with mobility disabilities, even the seemingly simple task of operating that phone can be difficult. Assistive Touch mobile app, activating smartphone operations are much easier. It also offers virtual buttons that allow users to navigate a device without actually having to touch it. Virtual home buttons, back buttons, screenshot buttons, and volume control — even turning the device on and off — are suddenly simple tasks to perform. Available for Android and iOS users. Apps can be used either on smartphones or desktops to solve a variety of daily challenges.
