3. a. Mengucapkan salam dengan ramah kepada siswa ketika
memasuki ruang kelas (nilai yang ditanamkan: santun, peduli)

Dalam kegiatan eksplorasi guru:

tentang PAST TENSE kepada peserta didik.
2. Mendiskusikan materi bersama siswa (Buku :
Bahan Ajar Bahasa Inggris mengenai past tense.
3. Memberikan kesempatan untuk memahami
penjelasan yang sudah diberikan.

Dalam kegiatan elaborasi guru:
a. Membuat sebuah permainan yang mengacu
pada pokok pelajaran berupa pemahaman past
tense kepada peserta didik.
b. Memfasilitasi siswa untuk melakukan kegiatan
belajar berupa permainan yang mengacu
kepada pokok bahasan past tense.

Dalam kegiatan konfirmasi guru:
a. Memberikan umpan balik pada siswa dengan
memberi penguatan dalam bentuk lisan pada
siswa yang telah dapat menyelesaikan tugasnya.
b. Memberi konfirmasi pada hasil pekerjaan yang
sudah dikerjakan oleh siswa melalui sumber
buku lain
c. Memfasilitasi siswa melakukan refleksi untuk
memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang sudah
dilakukan.
d. Memberikan motivasi kepada siswa yang kurang
dan belum bisa membuat past tense.
7. a. Siswa diminta membuat rangkuman dari
permainan tersebut tentang urutan / struktur
kalimat dalam past tense.
b. Siswa dan Guru melakukan refleksi terhadap
kegiatan yang sudah dilaksanakan
c. Siswa diberikan pekerjaan rumah (PR) berkaitan
dengan materi past tense.
d. Menyampaikan rencana pembelajaran pada
pertemuan berikutnya.

8. What is Past Tense?
Past tense is used to express activities had
happened in the past.
9. Example:
He studied English in the classroom yesterday.

11. a. He, She, I, They, We, Diana and Susan are Subject
b. Studied, wrote, played, waited, ate, spoke, …. Are verb
of Past Tense.
c. English, a letter, football, the doctor, meatball, five
languages.There are object.
d. in the classroom, in her room, in the park, in the field, in
the hospital, in canteen. There are adverb of place.
e. Yesterday, two days ago, a week ago, last year, this
morning.There are adverb of time.
12. CARD GAME
1. Teacher explains the past tense to
students clearly.
2. Teacher gives a time to students to
comprehend the lesson.
3. Teacher tries to support students to ask
the lesson by raising hand up first.
4. Teacher explains past tense once more
to students then says the rule of the
game.
13. 1. Teacher gives 5 blank cards to each student.
2. Teacher asks students to write word in Subject, Verb, Object,
adverb of place, and adverb of time on each card.
3. The word must capital letter, big, and can be read by others
4. After they write all their cards, teacher asks them to put 4 four
cards in their pocket but only a card they must hold it.
5. Teacher asks students to make a group of 5 students as soon
as possible which it consists of Subject, Verb, Object, adverb of
Place, and adverb of time.
6. Each game consists of 5 – 10 minutes ( depend on the class
demand ).
14. 7. After 5 – 10 minutes, the game must be stopped.
8. After they have made a group of 5 students, then they make a
line based on the card in front of the class.
9. Teacher corrected the group in the line, by ordering of past
tense.
10. If the group has mistake on their position in front of the class,
they are disqualified in the first row.
11. After all group has showed their achievement in front of the
class, teacher ask them to play again with different words and
different member of group.
12. Each session of the game only use a card each student.
15. The teacher gives confirmation or
suggestion in last lesson. It must be done
by teacher to encourage and to motivate
students at the day.
Teacher must give them a good reward or
appreciation of their achievement.
