membuat cerita tersebut lucu.

3. Tentunya semua jenis teks
yang tergolong Narration
memiliki tujuan komunikatif
yang sama, begitu juga pada
Spoof Text, yaitu untuk
menghibur pembaca atau
pendengar dari cerita yang
dibacakan.

4. Terdapat tiga jenis struktur kebahasaan yang dimiliki oleh Spoof
Text, yaitu:
1. Orientation
Seperti halnya jenis teks Narration yang lain, selalu
diawali dengan orientation. Orientation adalah bagian di mana
penulis memulai memperkenalkan cerita.
2. Events
Sedangkan pada bagian Events yaitu bagian di mana
penulis menceritakan kejadian-kejadian dalam cerita tersebut
tetapi kejadian yang diceritakan masih kejadian yang wajar.
3. Twist
Dan bagian dari Spoof Text yang terakhir adalah Twist.
Twist merupakan bagian teks yang mana menceritakan kebalikan
dari kejadian-kejadian wajar di bagian Events. Twist merupakan
bagian akhir dari Spoof Text yang menceritakan kejadian akhir
lucu dan tidak disangka-sangka sebelumnya.

5. Terdapat beberapa ciri kebahasaan Spoof Text
yang bisa membedakan dengan Jenis Teks
Bahasa Inggris (Types of Text) yang lainnya,
yaitu:
 Menggunakan Past Tense; was, were, did, etc.
 Menggunakan kata kerja aksi (action verb); did,
went, walked, etc.
 Menggunakan kata keterangan waktu dan kata
keterangan tempat.
 Diceritakan secara kronologis.

6. Jacky Wong got married with Lia Wong. Both of
them had a white skin and straight hair. They
are really a well-matched couple.
One year later, Wong family got a new baby. A
nurse brought them a son with curly hair and a
black skin.
The nurse congratulated and said, “What name
will you give to this son?”With a confused face,
Jacky Wong grumbled, “Sum Ting Wong!”

8. There was a man who liked money very much. He
worked all of his life and wanted to save all of
his money for his own future. He was a real
miser when it came to his money. He loved
money more than just about anything. Even, just
before he died, he said to his wife, “Now listen,
when I die, I want you to take all my money and
place it in the casket with me. I wanna take my
money to the afterlife.” So he asked his wife to
promise him with all her heart that when he
died, she would put all the money in the casket
with him.

9. Well, one day, he really died. Then he
was stretched out in the casket. The
wife was sitting there in black clothes
next to her closest friend. When they
finished the ceremony, just before the
undertakers got ready to close the
casket, the wife said, “Wait just a
minute!” She had a box in her hands.
She came over with the box and placed
it in the casket.

10. After that the undertakers locked the
casket down and rolled it away. Not
long after that, her friend said, “I hope
you were not crazy enough to put all
that money in the casket.” The wife
turned to her friend and replied, “Yes,
because I have promised.” Then she
continued, “I can’t lie. I promised him
that I was going to put that money in
that casket with him.”

11. Feeling shocked, her friend said,
“You mean that you have put
every cent of his money in the
casket with him?” Then the wife
answered, “Surely I did. I got it
all together, put all the money
into my account and I just wrote
him a check.”

12.  ORIENTATION
Someday in noon, there
was a man named Tomash where
busy at his working in the office.
He was typing all the data on
the table to his reports for next
month meeting.

13.  EVENT
He has a secretary named
Sushi, and ask her to come to his
room. “Sushi, I need your help,
please come to my room?!” “Ok” she
answered and came.
“Please make the databases
of the of equipment which is broken
in this month, and give it to me?!”
“Yes sir”

14.  TWIST
After one working day passed she
didn’t make it yet. Tomash was getting
angry and said “It is only one paper
database of equipment, but you had not
done it yet.” She didn’t answer anything,
Thomas was getting angry and angry. “Sushi
I am talking to you, if you didn’t understand
what I mean talk to the wall!”
Tomash went, and after 10
minutes went to the toilet, suddenly he
shocked that sushi talked to the wall alone.

15. “What are you doing?”
“Talked to the wall like what you
asked!” she answer.
Thomash was speechless “
Oh my gosh, I meant that if I talked
to you, you have to answer, not
keep silent and I said talked to the
wall meaning you make me crazy
because I talked alone without
reply!”
