Before teaching from Academic
and Arabic book, teacher
should refer standard textbook. In
case of difficulty contact Head of
Department or experienced
teacher.
Introduction (2-3 mins)
Statement of aim (3 seconds)
Explanation (20 min)
Recapitulation (3 mins)
Evaluation (4 min)
 The INTRODUCTION provides interest and motivation to the
students. It focuses students' attention on the lesson and its purposes.
It also convinces students that they will benefit from the lesson.
 There are many ways to present an introduction. Here are a few:
 Asking questions to get the students thinking about the topic of the
lesson.
 Showing pictures that relate to the lesson topic.
 Telling a story to show the importance of the topic.
 Bringing in "realia" (real objects) related to the lesson.
AIM:
 The overall purpose of the lesson.
 A broad statement of educational intentions
in a particular subject taught.
 When the teacher presented the topic in an
enthusiastic manner than the learner will be
motivated and get interest to learn.
 The PRESENTATION phase of the lesson is when the
teacher introduces new information. The teacher guides
the presentation, but there may be student input or
interaction.
 The presentation may be...
 Inductive (where examples are presented and the
students draw conclusions based on them)
 Deductive (where the teacher states a rule or
generalization and proceeds to explain or illustrate it), or
 Ask suitable stimulating and pivotal
questions to the students on the topic.
 The answers will give feedback to the
teacher regarding the efficacy of the
methods of teaching clarification etc.
This section focuses on ensuring that your students
have arrived at their intended destination.
You will need to gather some evidence that they did.
This usually is done by gathering students' work and
assessing this work using some kind of grading rubric
that is based on lesson objectives.
You could also replicate some of the activities
practiced as part of the lesson, but without providing
the same level of guidance as during the lesson.
You could always quiz them on various concepts and
problems as well.
a) Teaching aids
b) Day to day examples
c) Different maxims of teaching:
(Concrete to abstract, Known to
unknown, Simple to complex).
 There should be maximum pupil
participation and interaction.
 Teacher should probe and elicit information
from pupil.
 Teacher should discourage chorus answer.
 There should use positive
reinforcement (good, very good, excellent) to
increase confidence and performance of
students.
 Teacher should be enthusiastic, energetic
and active in the class.
 Encourage and motivate weak students.
Ask easy questions to them( to increase
their confidence)
 Don’t criticize or insult students.
 Plan your Black board work. It should be
attractive and well organized.
 Use play way method . There should be
interesting activities and games related to
the concept.
Academic and Arabic book should be
revised at least once.
Don’t give wrong answer or incomplete
answers to students.
Go well prepared in the class.
Check books regularly and properly.
There should not be wrong answers and
wrong spellings in the book.
Teacher should complete portion on
time.
 Maths teacher should solve
additional word problems/ sums for extra
practice.
 Students will not write those sums in
notebook.
 Similarly, language teachers will explain
additional grammar and vocabulary
questions in the class.
 Students will not
write additional questions and answers in
notebook.
Discourage rote learning.
Encourage understanding of concept.
Revise fundamental and basic concepts.
Before starting new concept, revise
previous knowledge related to it.
Maths teachers will start their lesson
with revision of multiplication tables.
Language teacher should improve
conversational skills of students.
Teacher should
upgrade and update
their teaching skills
