ourselves

child and a very healthy work environment from the
co-operate world)
 Learn from the students and teach them the real life
lesson
 Self care (Stay hydrated and bring your lunch)
 Home/School Life Balance

Methods to enhance learning
 Develop your curriculum lessons and teaching
methods. (Don’t be afraid to be creative)

Methods to enhance learning
 Try using constructive humor – Show cartoons or tell
funny stories that relate a point.
 Role play – Be a narrator and assign characters to
students so that they indulge and understand the
power and feel of character.
 Suspense & Surprise – The use of suspense make
the material more intriguing for students. Try
developing a ‘anticipatory set’ at beginning of the
class – A question you will answer by the end of class.
 Preparation – Of course to have the energy and self
confidence you must prepare. In order to be enthused
in the classroom, you must capture the passion for
the subject matter and for the teaching- learning
process.
Methods to enhance learning
 Patience – You should be willing to keep
explaining, knowing that eventually it would make
sense.
 Compassion for students – you should be aware
of each students performance in the class and
should be extra attentive for the weak students.
Some lessons can be taught without books.
 Encourage sharing of ideas and offer incentives
to students like no homework today just to think
outside the box.
 Pride in students accomplishments.
 Pay attention if a student is unwell or depressed,
call them after the class and ask if they are
alright.
 Bring out student opinions about certain topics.
 Your evaluation(tests and Quizzes) should be
formed based on the original objective. It should
evaluate how far the student meet the objective
you set while planning the lesson.
Classroom Management
 Homework
 Rules
 Rewards
 Grading
 Discipline
 Class Jobs
 Language
