INTRODUCTION
On a personal level, teacher mentors or leaders should
have the ability to lead by example, take an approach to
problem-solving, be skilled at developing positive
interpersonal relationships, have an enthusiasm for work
and the ability to encourage and listen to others. Within
the school environment, teachers leaders should be able
and willing to mentor less experienced teachers, speak out
in a positive way about challenges the school may face and
promote positive solutions. A teacher leader also has an
obligation to the community to exhibit community activism
in working to better the lives of students and families, by
encouraging positive feedback but also advocating for
resources for indigent or dysfunctional families.

My presentation seeks to showcase the positive teacher
leadership abilities, strengths and qualifications that I
possess and the comfort ability in mentoring others .

LEADERSHIP STYLE
The results of my leadership style fro m the Self-

people and task oriented leader. I do tend to focus a
little more on the people involved than the task being
completed. I consider myself to be transformational in
my leadership abilities because I start with a vision to
inspire, possess an abundance of energy and
enthusiasm as I promote success.
CONCLUSION
This presentation has shown my strengths and
qualifications as a teacher mentor. My leadership
style continues to allow me to be an effective
communicator, be accessible to meeting the needs of
others, organized, obligated to encourage, listen and
promote positivity in the learning environment. As an
added bonus, I am always seeking alternate ways to
proceed.
