In the classroom, methods are series of related acts by teachers and students to achieve lesson aims. The choice of method depends on the information taught and student aptitude. Methods generally fall into teacher-centered or student-centered approaches. Effective methods provide varied experiences, promote interest, train through self-study, focus on topics, stimulate further study, and are based on student cooperation and teacher knowledge. The method choice considers objectives, students, content, environment, teacher experience, and time available, with the goal of making teaching more effective and interesting through instructional variety.
