Teaching is a process of imparting knowledge & skills.
Teaching is to communicate the message of knowledge.
TEACHING METHODOLOGY:
Pedagogy refers to leading children through theory
and practice of education, and how this influences
the growth of learners. Pedagogy, taken as an
academic discipline, is the study of how knowledge
and skills are exchanged in an educational context,
and it considers the interactions that take place
during learning.
Andragogy refers to methods and principles used in adult
education.
A teaching method comprises the principles used by
teachers to enable student learning. It is a systematic
way of doing something. It implies an orderly logical
arrangement of steps. It is more procedural.
Teaching techniques is a well
defined procedure used to
accomplish a specific activity
or task.
Teaching approach is a way of looking at teaching and
learning. Underlying any language teaching approach is a
theoretical view of what language is, and of how it can
be learnt. An approach gives rise to methods, the way of
teaching something, which use classroom activities or
techniques to help learners learn. The approaches for
teaching can be broadly classified into teacher
centered and student centered.
