1. This is our first shot, which is
very important because it is
the shot in which our
audience make their mind up
about our film.
It draws in our target
audience because, there are
lots of books, and quite
obviously a library. Our target
audience are watching our
film because they are more
educated and want there to
be more of an intelligent plot
than gore.
2. This is the second
shot of our actress
walking away from the
book shelf, in her high
heels.
It shows her as a
sophisticated woman,
rather than being
objectified like in other
films.
Our target audience
would be drawn in by
this shot because it
matches their
expectations of a
sophisticated cast.
3. This shot reveals
what this film is
really about. A
murder. We can
see that she has
been
researching
about murder,
and that this will
be a main theme
throughout the
film. Our
audience want
murder to be
included for a
good mysterious
investigation to
take place.
4. The book that is
shown in this shot,
stationed on the
desk throughout the
sequence is, ‘The
Lucifer Effect’. A
book about why
good people turn
bad. Our audience
would be looking out
for things like this,
because its written
by a famous
physiologist.
