The magazine will be titled "Pop and R'n'B Magazine" and target the 16-24 age range of both genders. It will feature those genres of music to appeal widely. The first issue will pay tribute to Michael Jackson on the cover through props resembling his iconic performances to leverage his continued influence.

2. Title of magazine I have decided to call my magazine .I have chosen this name because I believe this is the most suitable, appropriate name for the genre and style of my magazine. Furthermore the name is powerful and immediately

3. Explanation of genre My genre will consist of Pop and R’N’B, this will appeal to a wide range of people, within my target audience bracket and also other people outside of the age group. Moreover I have chosen this overlap of genres as I have most knowledge about them whereas I may struggle for ideas if I waschose another genre.

Target Audience My target audience was originally aimed at 16-20 however due to collect my qualitative research I found from quota sampling this may mirror a wider age range, therefore I have increased the age from 16-24. In addition to this I am targeting both genders as I believe this will appeal to both sex’s.

Initial ideas about front page My initial idea is to tribute my front cover to Michael Jackson, such as the person featured on front cover page wearing props similar to what Michael may have wore whilst he was performing, as he has been such a huge influence of music produced of today, what's more is that many people will immediately recognise this
