Tagging, also called re-tagging, allows final year undergraduate students to change the tags of non-core courses, such as department electives, institute electives, additional learning courses, minors, and honors. Some students re-tag courses to increase their core CPI, while others use it to complete honors or minor requirements. Students have two opportunities to re-tag - before placements and after the 8th or 10th semester. The process involves logging into the academic portal and making changes, then getting approvals from the faculty advisor and head of department to submit to the Dean's office.
