Stereolithography - Presentation By Hitesh SharmaHitesh Sharma
In the recent decades of development of manufacturing and production engineering, 3D printing technology has emerged as one of the most promising area for research and development. With the availability of flexible and user friendly manufacturing and interfacing system, the 3D printing technology has attracted a lot of researchers form keen aspects of their field.
Medical Engineering is the branch of science that deal with the application of technological aspects in solving medical problems. With the merger in these two vast fields a lot of problems has been answered and the development of new things is on their verge of initiation.
In the recent decade both the engineers and medical researchers have worked on integration of technologies to solve the medical problems globally. In the scenario, a lot of technology like 3D printed Heart, Kidneys, etc., & physical implants like teeth’s, bones and medical support.
In this report, I have tried to acknowledge the work done in the field with their importance in the ever changing scenario of the world.
This presentation focuses on women in engineering majors, the challenges they face, and what can be done to encourage more women to enter engineering programs.

Student Records System SRS – Requirements Definitions
Non-Functional Requirements
1. The SRS should be Internet-accessible using only an Internet connection and a web browser.
2. The system should enforce security rules as determined by the school on the security permissions and privileges afforded to both the school staff and the student population in accessing the system over the Internet.
Functional Requirements
1. Maintain Student Records
A staff member logs into the course.
A staff member enters the student ID for the student record he wishes to delete, or update. The student record displays on the screen. If the student is to be added, then the add student template will display on the screen.
The SRS should add or maintain this information for each student: First Name, Middle Initials, Last Name, StudentID, department (e.g. Grad Law, Undergrad IT), and Date of Birth, GPA (scale of 1.0 - 4.0)
These records can only be updated by the school staff who have the permissions to add/modify/delete any student record
2. Maintain Course Records

The information system for communication with alumni embodies one of many ways how a
university can keep tracking with its graduates. Except for communication between university
and its graduates, the information system should allow communication between graduates
themselves and their personal presentation in public. The system also should collect actual
information about working experience of graduates, which can improve faculty credits and
teaching process. The presented information system includes all these points and focuses on
usability and comfortable user interface. The aim of this project is to build an Alumni
management system online dashboard.the project manages the fresh as well as old graduate
students with their respective information in actively participating in making registering,
searching, managing the alumni information for sharing their expertise, network, jobs
opportunities and resources

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

1. Tagging 101
- By Undergraduate Academic Council
(UGAC) 2018-19
9th August, 2018
10 pm
LA 101 and LA 102
2. What is tagging?
What tagging is:
● A facility provided to final year
students to do additional courses
and then select courses which
they wish to count towards their
‘core CPI’, in accordance with
their curriculum
What tagging isn’t:
● An option to blindly retag
courses to optimize CPI without
any rules (sounds familiar?)
3. When is it done?
The option of tagging (or re-
tagging) is provided to students
only TWICE for the entire stay in
IIT Bombay
1. In the beginning of their
placement semester
2. At the time of graduation
4. Things to note here:
1. The courses that have been re-tagged
once in the previous window, cannot be
changed again in the next one.
2. Since 2017, the tagging window for
Category I DD students will also be the
same as the re-tagging window of their
B.Tech counterparts (those who are
graduating). For them (Category I DD
students), the second window for re-
tagging will be made available at the
time of graduation. This has been done
to ensure a fair process of selection for
the institute medals.
5. Sounds good, what are the rules for this?
TAG CODE TAG DESCRIPTION CHANGEABLE INTO
T Additional Learning D,I,O
C Core Course Not changeable
D Department Elective O,T
O Honours Course D,T
E Honours Elective D,O,T
H Humanities Elective T
I Institute Elective T
M Minor Course I,T
6. Important
Points to Note:
● Honors elective E is not in use now. Any
course under honors must be tagged as
Honors Core-O
● SOM/IDC minor courses cannot be re-
tagged as an Institute Elective without the
permission of HoD. Please consult with
HoD before proceeding with registrations
● For any special requests i.e. a change,
which cannot be implemented on the
tagging interface, the student has to get
an approval from his/her Faculty Advisor
and HoD of concerned department (other
department in case of minors) → More on
this later
7. Understood, what is the procedure?
ConfirmationPreparation and Planning Execution
1. Go to iitb.ac.in/asc
2. Login through your LDAP
3. Have a good look at the
courses and present tags
4. Look up the rules and
note down the changes
that you would like at a
place.
1. Go to asc.iitb.ac.in
2. Login through your LDAP
3. Go to Academics → Change
of Tag in the left panel
4. Mark the desired changes
on the application
interface that opens up
Once all this is done,
you will get an
option to save your
tags. Click on
‘Confirm’ and it will
display your newly
updated tags.
8. So, what about
the Manual
Tagging forms?
● In an ideal case, NO MANUAL TAGGING is
required for you to complete the process
● It shall be required only in the situation
that ASC doesn’t allow a particular tag
change which your department
curriculum otherwise allows.
● What to do in this situation?
○ Get the manual form from the
interface itself
○ Mark the required change of tags
○ Get it approved by your Faculty
Advisor
○ Get it approved by your HoD
○ Submit it in Dean AP’s Office
AVOID THEM
AS MUCH AS
POSSIBLE
9. That helps...
