1. Audience Theme Justification
Primary Gore I think the primary audience will be most
interested in the gore. This is because they are the
primary audience, which means they are horror
fanatics and they would want to see a lot of gore
and blood in the film. They enjoy watching horror
films and want to see one that is really scary and
hostel.
All Music In my opinion the whole audience would be
interested in the music, this is because the music
in the film creates the atmosphere of the room, for
example if the music was a joyful song the
audience would feel calm but it would place
daunting music in a horror film people will be
scared and paranoid.
Secondary Women/Stars The secondary audience would be most interested
in the women and start because of the sex appeal
towards the cast.
Primary Neil Marshall I think the primary audience would be interested
in the director of the film, being Neil Marshall,
because they would want to see the skills he has
used to make a horror movie and also to see if it
fits the potential of being a horror.
Additional Adventure The additional audience being the extreme
sportsman/woman would be most interested in
the adventure. This is being the adventure is what
they do; they like to explore dangerous things and
experience them.
Additional Caving The additional audience again would be interested
in caving because they like seeing dangerous
things.

Primary Monsters The primary audience would be interested in the
monsters in the film, this is because the primary
audience are the people who enjoy horror films
the most, so they would want to see something
they haven't seen in any other film so they would
be interested in what the monster would look like,
what they can do etc.
Primary Drama I think the primary audience would take notice in
the drama. This is because the drama makes up
the film. It gives the atmosphere of the film so
people would be scared of anything coming up. I
think women in the primary audience would be
interested in the drama as they come by it a lot in
life.

2. All Narrative It think the whole audience would be interested in
the narrative because they want the film to have a
straight forward storyline so they know what’s
happening, this is important so the audience will
think it’s a good or bad film depending on the
story line.
