Ethical priorities for variant databases include 1) competence – ensuring that data is responsibly managed, curated, and used; 2) confidentiality – ensuring appropriate safeguards for patient data; 3) communication – clearly describing the purpose, quality standards, and data handling practices to contributing patients and potential users; and 4) continuous oversight to adapt database governance in a rapidly evolving environment. How can database managers fulfill these obligations when these responsibilities are increasingly distributed along the clinical pipeline? Legal issues include medical liability based on potential harm to patients; liability based on third-party intellectual property or privacy rights in the data; and regulatory risks as variant data is integrated into genetic tests or devices. Can these risks can be managed through appropriate governance structures – including adequate consents, access processes, contributor agreements, and disclaimers – while still facilitating sharing and clinical use?

Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan melakukan trial and error dilengkapi dengan kajian literatur dan survei tingkat kesukaan responden. Kulit mangga mengandung flavonoid, fenol, saponin, alkaloid dan steroid yang sangat berfungsi untuk membunuh cacing. Wortel mengandung vitamin A, vitamin C, kalsium, serta paspirin. Wortel juga mengandung alkaloid dan minyak atsiri. Temu hitam mengandung minyak atsiri dan seskuiterpen. Sirih mengandung minyak terbang (betiephenol), seskuiterpen, dan kavikol yang memiliki daya mematikan kuman, dan antioksidan. Hasil uji organolepti dan uji homogenitas menunjukkan bahwa permen ekstrak kulit mangga memiliki kualitas produk yang baik. Hasil survey responden menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesukaan konsumen cukup tinggi. Sehingga permen lollipop pembasmi cacing dari ekstrak kulit mangga ini memiliki prospek pasar yang bagus.

• Ethical dilemmas, also known as
a moral dilemmas, are situations in which
there is a choice to be made between two
options, neither of which resolves the
situation in an ethically acceptable fashion.
• There are three conditions that must be
present for a situation to be considered an
ethical dilemma.

individual, called the “agent,” must make a
decision about which course of action is best.
• The second condition for ethical dilemma is that
there must be different courses of action to

• Third, in an ethical dilemma, no matter what

solution.

• Truth vs Loyalty - this is about being honest while
keeping one's promises. Truth tends to be about
accurately reporting the fact. Loyalty is about feelings
of allegiance to a friend, a group, or a set of ideas.
• Individual vs Community - this is about placing the
interests of the individual against those of the larger
community.
• Short Term vs Long Term - this is about requirements of
the present against the need for a safe and secure
future.
