Flex Crew Essay
In a large city, full of diverse people, finding a musical performance is not hard to come by. Luckily,
as I was searching online for different performances I ran across The Flex Crew performing at Skully
s music diner. I have been to Skully s once before to watch a folk band perform. The atmosphere was a
lot different than when we saw The Flex Crew. Obviously, the genre of music was a lot different,
along with the atmosphere of the crowd. I was very surprised by the number of people in the bar that
evening. Mostly, because the performance started at 11PM and the world series was on. On top of this,

The book is very credible because Oliver Sacks, the author, is very highly regarded and respected
throughout the medical community. His experience in the field is extensive, and that kind of expertise
is shown throughout the book, as Sacks would re diagnose patients who were previously diagnosed
something wrong.
The point of view is unexpected. Oliver Sacks was not an outside observer to the world of mental
conditions, not because of his working with patients on a daily basis, but because he actually had a
condition. Oliver Sacks condition was a less serious version of the condition that the man who
mistook his wife for a hat had. Oliver Sacks had a mild form of visual agnosia, which means that one
can see, but has trouble interpreting what one is seeing. The man who mistook his wife for a hat could
see a glove as a continuous surface infolded on itself. It has five outpouchings. When Sacks told him
that it was a glove, he was very surprised, but could understand how. Oliver Sacks had trouble
distinguishing faces because of this agnosia of vision, which made him very shy.
The accuracy of the science in this book, as with any current book on the brain and mind, is bound to
be not complete as

judge from the analogues, portrayed Merlin as a sinner in some sense or other) so as to be able to write
a vita in the technical sense of a saint s life. Geoffrey spun Celtic and Christian tradition in such a way
as to portray Merlin in a saintly light, yet it would be imprudent (as Thomas suggests) to ignore all the
material that casts Merlin as a sinner. Regardless, Merlin s duality is again evident leaving the
audience perplexed on whether to believe in conventional understandings of monstrosity, or to believe
in Geoffrey s narrative

Open Source means it is free. No one owns it, so there is no source code, no key code, and no
licensing to purchase. When Linus Torvalds created Linux, he determined that the more people or, the
more minds delving into the software can make the system more creative, more improved, and the
possibilities are endless. Thus, he gave Linux to the world as a free open source operating system (

the GNU project. According to Gnu General Public License, Version 3 29 June 2007 (2007), The
GNU General Public license is a free, copyleft license for software and other kinds of works (para. 1).
Copyleft means a technique for creating a program whereby it is free; forcing any altered and
expanded versions of said program to be free also. A software company provides a software license to
a consumer who then provides their permission for the consumer to use their software packet or
package. Typically, it comes with many restrictions, and only allows the user one copy per license. It
cannot be copied or distributed in anyway. Such is the case for Microsoft.
Microsoft also has volume licensing in that a corporation can purchase as many licenses, or also
referred to as key codes, as they might need depending on the size of the business.
When Microsoft came up with volume licensing it allowed businesses to save costs by not having to
purchase the boxed software. The cost is only for the license number or key code. It can also give
tailored buying choices and better software administration.
