and verb usually do not affect agreement.
Example: The vase above the table is
expensive.
The cat behind the bottles is
sleeping.
The moon, behind the clouds still (shine,
shines) brightly.
5. 4. If the sentence starts with there and
here, the subject is always placed
after the verb.
Example: There are apples on the table.
