Storyboards are visual representations that lay out sequential images to demonstrate the flow of a digital story. They include images, scenes, dialogue, narration, sound effects and music. A good digital story is based on solid writing that has a point, asks a dramatic question and contains emotional content. It should show rather than tell through the use of precise verbs and avoiding too much background information. Sound and movement can enhance the story when used appropriately. The most important element is a compelling story, while technology should only serve as a tool rather than the focus.
