I'm a resourceful teacher, teacher trainer and material writer with native-like command of English and in-depth knowledge of ELT resources and methodology. I am convinced that two elements are vital for highly effective teaching. First, motivating and engaging the learner, through making them feel valued and creating the atmosphere of trust in the classroom. Secondly, empowering the learner through the use of methods and materials informed by research into learning and language (in particular, Second Language Acquisition, study skills and strategies, and corpora research).
