I researched content layout designs for magazines before starting my own design. I preferred the "Q" layout as it was structured nicely and looked professional. I began by placing boxes to structure where features would go. I edited images and placed them along with the title, issue date, and "review" section to see how much space remained. I added picture captions cutting into images and content lines with reference numbers to link to an artist index for a more professional look. Finally, color filled boxes were added to numbers for more color instead of a plain white background, giving the page a polished finished look.
