ITC India Ltd is launching a new snack brand called Bingo to enter the Indian snack food market. Bingo will offer potato chips and finger snacks inspired by popular Indian street foods. ITC plans to leverage its existing large distribution network for cigarettes to distribute Bingo snacks through pan shops, major retailers, and local shops across India. Market research found that Indians have a preference for homemade savory snacks, so Bingo will provide flavors inspired by popular snacks like bhel, gol gappas, and khakra.
