The ETRC Advisory Board meeting covered events from the summer of 2013 and plans for the upcoming year. In the summer, ETRC held a successful summer school with 77 English teachers attending sessions led by specialists from Moldova and the US. They also held professional development events on symbols of US independence and an excursion to Soroca. For the 2013-2014 year, ETRC outlined a project to provide resources and training to in-service and pre-service English teachers through regular seminars, workshops and access to materials. In November 2011, the English Teachers Resource Center (ETRC) held several professional development seminars and workshops for English teachers. The month began with the Fall School session attended by 55-60 teachers. Throughout the month, the ETRC and Macmillan Education co-organized seminars on grammar and vocabulary instruction. Additional seminars covered American holidays, cultural notes, new vocabulary teaching methods, and using books to teach reading. The ETRC also continued its weekly FACE club for students and restarted debate meetings facilitated by a TOEFL instructor. Overall attendance ranged from 7 to 30 teachers across the various events held in November.

On a personal level, Isak was a delightful student to teach who never became disheartened by the workload and was popular among his classmates. Isak also found great success in Model United Nations at his school, where he displayed an inquiring mind and remarkable ability to learn despite little prior experience with debating. ETRC Report for September 2013
ETRC organized various seminars, meetings, and events in September 2013 to promote English language learning. Seminars for teachers focused on creating classroom community, using brain breaks, and useful web resources, attracting an average of 13 participants each. A seminar for university lecturers on using authentic resources had 4 attendees. The Friday discussion club hosted conversations on topics like South Carolina and music led by native English speakers. The Advisory Board meeting outlined events for the year, analyzed ETRC's work and resources, and discussed collaboration with the university administration.

The ETRC Advisory Board meeting agenda included discussing daily operations, seminars, the Spring School 2013 results, university collaboration, and a service learning project. ETRC visits increased each month in 2013 for books, computers, and audio/video. Weekly English teacher seminars and webinars had average attendance of 12 people. The Spring School hosted over 70 teachers each day. A group of retired American teachers provided EFL training. Service learning included weekly English seminars for non-English teachers. FACE club discussions had average attendance of 10-11 students. Future plans included regular seminars, an American holiday event, an ETRC anniversary contest, webinars, and a potential summer school.
VIH Introduction to Graphic Novels

A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
