Pros And Cons Of Donald Trump
I will build a great wall and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me and I ll build them very
inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay
for that wall. Mark my words. Is this what we want the next president of the United States to do? I
believe we should stop Donald Trumpfrom being able to do this and choose to vote for Hillary
Clinton.
First off, Donald Trump is a businessman not a politician. He treats all people of color as if they
are immigrants or terrorists. Trump says he wants Americans to feel safe from immigrants, but
he really wants america to be a white only country. Treating woman with no respect is not what
we want for our future. If he becomes president he wants to end Obama s two illegal executive
amnesties. He will insure that all all immigration laws will be enforced. Anyone who enters the
U.S. illegally is subject to deportation, also he will make sure all illegal immigrants will be
deported the minute they are issued to be. One of the main ways he will be doing this by getting
rid of job benefits since so many illegal immigrants come to the U.S. looking for jobs. ... Show

Should Cloning Be Allowed In The United States
I do not think that cloning should not be allowed in the United States let alone in the rest of the
world. It can be done on people and animals after they are dead. People think that cloning will
ease the pain of the dead when the clone is not the same person. The person or animal is gone
and the clone is not going to ease the pain. You just have to deal with the pain and you will
slowly get through it cloning will never get rid of it. Cloning has never been the answer if you
have lost somebody or something. There could be problems while the cloning process is
happening and the clone could come out wrong. The clone could have something wrong that it
could die and kill the person it was cloned after. The people of the world think that a kid

Toussaint LOuverture Analysis
Toussaint L Ouverture essay
This eloquent by Wendell Phillips speech takes a journey back to Toussaint L Ouverture s time as
being the most powerful Haitian leader. The timing of this speech is impeccable because it is prior
to the Civil War, during which there was simmering debate over African Americanmilitary service.
The speech is primarily aimed at northerners but it can also be interpreted as a stern message or
rebuke to southerners. The key goal of the speech is to persuade northerners that African Americans
would make a valuable addition to the Union army. Phillips is a white abolitionist himself, which
establishes a sense of ethos. Throughout the speech Phillips asserts that despite history being
against Toussaint L Ouverture, he is a man of honor and is above all the rest. This is achieved by
outlining his little known accomplishments and humble beginnings.
Phillips argues that despite many odds, he routs the British, the French, and the Spaniards: from the
reluctant testimony of Britons, Frenchmen, Spaniards As a result of these numerous European
defeats, history is reluctantly written to acknowledge the losses suffered by Europe and the
triumph of the Haitians. This helps the audience understand that L Ouverture is not be
underestimated, which then enables a sense of reverence for L Ouverture. Phillips goes on to
argue that L Ouverture is self made and was victorious by virtue of his own skills: [Toussaint]

Women and the Agricultural Revolution Essay
Women and the Agricultural Revolution
Elise Boulding in her article, Women and the Agricultural Revolution, argues that women played a
key role in initiating the Agricultural Revolution. She defines the revolution as happening within
two stages: horticulture and agriculture proper. Women had a prominent role within the earlier
form, horticulture. Horticulture is defined as farming for subsistence only.Women s roles on the
farm were not as dominant as society grew to farming for surplus instead. Boulding begins the
article by discussing the shift society made from wandering nomads to settled villagers. She
explains that it was women who recognized that plants could be easily domesticated. It was because
of the domestication of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They did much of the planting and gathering, and Boulding states that women probably even
constructed the mud houses in the early villages. In this horticulture society, children also helped
women. They carryed out many chores on the farm, such as taking care of animals and gathering
grain. These roles would change as farming shifted to agriculture proper.
At horticulture stage, the farming of these early people was for the purpose of providing enough
food for the family. In these farms, women were able to farm the lands without much aid. Instead,
they used simple small hand tools to do the work. However, once the farms grew in size and they
had a surplus of food, they required more help.
Gradually, as the farms grew, there was a shift from merely farming to provide for the family, to
farming for economic profit as well. As a result, Boulding argues that women were no longer the
main workers on the farm. Women continued to help the development of the Agricultural
Revolution despite their role change. Originally, women used digging sticks for gathering, planting,
and growing plants. As the farming purpose changed, however, the tools changed as well.
The plow and animals were used for cultivation, making women less visible on the field.
Yet, women continued to help by creating baskets and discovering pottery, all of which enabled
them to store more grain.

The Man In The High Castle Analysis
Human Reliance on Outside Forces
We live in the world our questions create (David Cooperrider). Inquiry is the base of society, all
answers come from questions that were once asked. Questioning can influence people s decisions
to act in certain ways and determine how they live, and people s lives change the world. The Man
in the High Castle, written by Philip K Dick, follows a full cast of characters from an endangered
Jewish man named Frank Frink to a high up Japanese man named Mr. Tagomi. The book takes
place in a world after World War Two, but one very different from present time, a world where
Germany and Japan, along with the other Axis powers, won the war. The planet is overcome
with racism and distrust. Jewish people are killed every day and the ones still alive are forced
into hiding and change their names. Both men live very different lives, Frink is in hiding as a Jew
while Tagomi is a wealthy antique seller. The one thing they have in common is the I Ching, a
highly regarded oracle of sorts. It predicts the future and provides advice along with it; and
everyone follows that advice no matter what they are told. They do this partially because after
the Axis powers won the war, every person was required to have an I Ching in their home. This
caused the residents to become reliant on the oracle for their every need. The I Ching provides
advice in the form of special hexagrams which have a corresponding prophecy of sorts. In The
Man in the High Castle Philip K.

The Internal Combustion Engine
1Introduction
Since the advent of the internal combustion engine nearly two centuries ago, humans have
become increasingly reliant on fuel to power these engines. Our only method, historically, for
obtaining this fuel is to probe the earth and oceans until crude oil is struck. Crude oil is termed a
fossil fuel as it takes hundreds of millions of years to form. Crude oil is extracted from a
geological reservoir and subsequently refined into the various fuels which we use at ever increasing
rates (petroleum, diesel, aviation fuel etc). Unfortunately we are not finding new oil deposits at
anything like the rates we are consuming, so logically we will eventually run out. Many of the
alternate energy sources currently available (electric engines, fuel cells and ethanol) have low
energy density and do not scale well to larger vehicles like aeroplanes and trucks. Therefore finding
new renewable sources of energy to power our current and future devices is paramount to our
continuation as a successful species.
This project focuses on the prokaryotic enzyme, diacylglycerol acyltransferase 1 DGAT1 (not to
be confused with eukaryotic DGA1P a protein which provides the same function but is very
different in sequence and structure). This enzyme is encoded by the atf1 gene in Rhodococcus
opacus PD630. DGAT is important because it catalyses the final, rate limiting step, in the Kennedy
pathway. This step is the transfer of an acyl group from acyl CoA to diacylglycerol, creating

Symbolism in Greasy Lake
Greasy Lake
Greasy Lake by Tom Coraghessan Boyle, is the story of a group of adolescents, searching for the
one situation that will proclaim them as bad boys and how their minds change. As the story begins,
the narrator gives the impression that he feels he and the others boys should have taken notice of
some obvious clues about themselves. These clues would have led them to the conclusion that they
were far from the bad guys they wished to be. However, the oblivious teenagers ignore these
obvious signs and continue in search of their goal.
In this story, Boyle uses many symbols to create the theme. The individual vehicles are each
symbols in the portion of the story that they appear. For example, early in the story, the narrator...

careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

Rational Actor Model
There are many different models to explore why young people offend; Rational Actor,
Predestined Actor and Victimised Actor (Stephenson M and Allen R. 2013). In exploring two of
these models I will be using a case example CH. In looking at CH offending behaviour, it could be
viewed that he fits in to the Rational Actor model. This model explores the idea that young people
had the choice to offend; CH woke up and made the choice to go and rob someone in order to obtain
money to get cannabis. The benefit of the offending behaviour out weights the consequences; CH s
need to get high out weight the consequences of being arrested for a serious offence which could
lead to custody. With this in mind the view of tacking offending behaviour of a young person that
fits with the Rational Actor is that the punishment must out weight the benefits of the behaviour
and must become harsher, greater and more serious as the offending escalates; options for
sentencing was DTO (Detention and training Order) for a significant length of time or Youth
Rehabilitation Order with Intense supervision (YRO 25 hours a week). Adapted from Hopkins
Burke (2008: 88) the five points the Rational Actor model: Humans are rational beings who enjoy
free will. People choose to engage in criminal behaviour. Society must punish criminals to deter
individuals wrongdoers and other would be criminals. Punishment should be proportional to the
offence committed. Punishment must be guaranteed and

The United States Women s National Team
The United States women s national soccer team is being torn under discrimination and how they
are being treated as an individual. Throughout the years, the women have accomplished so much
more than the men, but yet are being paid less than what the men are making. They have
experienced rough conditions of the fields when they play their matches, which can lead to serious
career ending injuries. The women have had enough of this situation and they plan to bring this up
to the U.S Soccer Federation, they hope the men will stick up for them and help them fight for
their rights, the women hope to get rid of Astroturf altogether and quit playing their matches on it,

The importance is to know how they feel about this situation, which can put in a different
perspective on how you were chosen to represent a country but get brought down because of gender
. It s our responsibility to know what s right and what s wrong in the federation and stick up for the
people being torn and brought down from discrimination. The U.S Soccer Federation is being
brought to attention and being investigated of the discrimination towards the women. For example,
The U.S Soccer Federation is a 501 nonprofit and the official governing body of the sport of soccer
in the United States. (Wikipedia1). This clearly demonstrates that the federation is in charge of the
soccer, and it is understood that they are more than capable of changing the discrimination between
the women and the men. The significance is that being the federation they have all of the power to
determine how much pay each national team gets, and only they can do what s right in this
situation. In addition, According to a budget report from the U.S Soccer Federation, the women s
team is projected to bring in more than $17 million in revenues, including a $5 million surplus for a
fiscal year 2017, nearly doubling their male counterparts. (Santhanam1). This quote can help the
women out by fighting with the federation on these statistics, showing

Disadvantages Of Texting And Driving Essay
Texting and driving has become a recent issue in today s world. Many teens, as well as adults,
have formed a habit of texting while driving. Texting while driving is distracting and the
possibilities of getting into a car accident while texting and driving are higher than if you are not.
Texting while driving has gotten so ridiculous the government has realized this is an ongoing
problem that is causing accidents. In attempting to prevent this, new laws have been passed,
making the use of cell phones while driving a car, illegal. However, too many people do not
respect or pay attention to this law which put many people lives at risk. There are several
disadvantages of texting while driving, including jail time/prison, fatal crashes, and loss of lives.

Neural Mechanisms in Controlling Eating Behaviour
Outline and evaluate the role of neural mechanisms in controlling eating behaviour (24 marks)
Today there is enormous interest in the psychological factors that can affects a person s eating
habits, but some of the clearest research findings have come from research into the brain (neural)
mechanisms controlling eating behaviour.
One important mechanism to consider is the role of homeostasis in all mammals. Homeostasis is
how the body maintains a constant internal environment. Our diet is essential to homeostasis as it
provides the nutrients that allow physiological processes to be regulated within narrow limits. The
body has evolved two separate systems one for turning eating on and one for turning eating off .

The protein leptin is produced in response to satiation which is secreted into the bloodstream
from fat tissue, leading to fat loss and decreased appetite. To support the role of this protein,
Zhang et.al injected two copies of the gene for obesity into some mice and these ob/ob mice had
a tendency to overeat. They discovered that the ob/ob mice had a defective gene for the protein
leptin and were unable to experience a decrease in appetite as well as fat loss. However, injecting
these mice with leptin caused them to lose weight dramatically. This shows how proteins also have
a role in controlling our eating behaviour and not only neural mechanisms.
Moreover, thinking about a food makes us feel hungry but also food related smells and sights.
The neural control of these cognitive factors in hunger probably originates in the main brain area
the amygdala and the inferior prefrontal cortex. The amygdala plays a role in selecting foods
based on previous experience. To support this, Rolls and Rolls found that surgically removing the
amygdala in rats would cause the animals to consume both familiar and novel foods
indiscriminately, whereas amygdala intact rats would initially avoid novel foods and consume
only the more palatable familiar foods instead. This suggests how our previous experience in
eating certain foods alters what we eat due to the role of the amygdala processing such

The Importance Of Indentured Servants
Early colonists relied heavily on farming to sustain life in the New World, for self sustainability as
well as for trade with Native Americans and England. As farms and plantation grew, so did the
need for manual labor. Originally, the land owners adopted England s tradition of indentured
servant. Indentured servants were people that would pay their debts with time and labor. For
example, the lower class of the population in England, wanting to travel to the new world, would
sign an indentureagreement stating that if a higher class citizen would fund their travels, they
would work for the landowner for an agreed upon amount of time once they arrived. At the end of
their servitude, they would be released and provided the basic means of survival.

Pop Culture And Pop Art
Architecture in every life reflects the culture of every society interacting closely with the history,
politics and social feature of the society. Change in the cultural or social attitude has greatest impact
on architecture. Thus it would be generic to conclude that the role of culture in promoting an
architectural style or era is an essential part of its existence.
Roemer van Toorn1 states that Matters concerning architecture are no longer about being popular
but about creating the popular. But the main idea to the proposal suggests that Contemporary
architecture has already been absorbed by the popular. It is now a part of the scene, a part of what
we call popular culture.
The popular culture is more defined by what is displayed in mass medias such as the MTV or
Lifestyle magazines or Daily newspapers. Popular culture is entangled with consumer culture2,
basically suggesting that popular is what is popularly consumed or accepted.
And as architecture has crossed the threshold to the field of mass media and popular consumption,
it had indeed gone pop! that being a part of popular culture.
The Minimalism3 and Pop Art both art movements came up about the same time. Both these
movements posed a question on art s autonomy as represented by the institutionalization of abstract
painting. Moreover, both proposed that the art escaped the privilege of the unique artistic object
and its corresponding museum context.
The movement had different approaches though. Minimalist created objects that would focus the
attention on the industrialization of manufacture and on the spatial experience. While, pop art
reconnected to the outside world of popular culture and mass consumption.
When Robert Venturi4 proposed that architecture can be drawn from popular visual culture of the
contemporary urban landscape, he was unaware of the potential of the happenings of today. In fact
later he was accused by detractors of using the idea of popular culture to reinforce architecture s
position at the high end of cultural spectrum. The popular forms and images were absorbed into the
vocabulary and architecture thus regained its determinant role of popular taste.
The part of architecture s move towards pop is also related to the desire

Piaget in the Toddler Classroom
There are a lot of things to consider when designing the layout of a toddler classroom. It is very
important to create an environment that is geared toward the proper developmental stage in order
for young children to get the most out their classroom. Children in the preoperational stage (2 yrs.
7 yrs.) need a wide variety of hands on activities to promote development. Using Jean Piaget s
Theory of Cognitive development to design a classroom will give toddlers a wide range of activities
to gain a strong foundation for learning.

The plant budgeting begins with me and my staff determining what a plant s quota (in pairs of
pants) for each month should be for one year ahead of time. We look at the plant s past
performance and add a little to this because we expect people to improve around here. These
yearly budgets are updated at the end of each month in light of the previous month s production.
If a plant manager beats this budget figure, we feel he has done a good job. If he cannot meet
the quota, his people have not been working at what the engineers feel is a very reasonable level
of speed and efficiency. Or possibly absenteeism or worker turnover, big problems in our plants,

want the problem corrected as quickly as we can. Given the number of pants that a plant actually

Inside J.R.R. Tolkien s The Hobbit
The Hobbit is an extravagant novel that tells the heroic story of the Bilbo Baggins. Although this
fictional novel is a fun and intense adventure story, the author s themes are directed towards
everyday life. Some of the themes that this novel entails are, the calling of becoming a hero, the
trails that shape a person s character, and the helpers in a person s life that shape a person to be
able to reach their full potential. J.R.R. Tolkien uses this novel to express these everyday themes.
The calling of a hero is one of themes that Tolkien expresses through the character Bilbo Baggins. A
hero is directly defined as a person who is admired for great or brave acts of fine qualities. Fine
qualities can consist of things such as strength, athletic ability, and also things like knowledge and
people skills. Everyone has the ability to be a hero. The author wants to send the message that
heroes can be made out of anyone. Becoming a hero isn t about having skills and abilities, it s
about answering the call for a hero and using those things to impact the people around them.
Tolkien created Bilbo to be a hobbit that keeps to himself inside of his home. Bilbo s qualities
were brevity and intelligence. Bilbo always has had the abilities to become a hero, but answering
the call and taking the actions to be a hero was what set Bilbo apart from other hobbits. An up
stander is hero everyday. Everyone has the ability to be brave enough to be an up stander no matter

Being a varsity cheerleader isn t always fun. Its great to hang with the girls and cheer our team
to victory, yet no one really sees behind the scenes. Anyone can be a cheerleader, but, not
everyone can a great cheerleader. As every freshman never fails to display, there were countless
times where I felt trapped within my body and encompassed in self doubt. It has always taken me
longer than the rest to grasp a new routine or cheer. Took me about a full year to learn how to stunt
and tumble. I ve often felt that I was holding my team back from reaching its full potential by not

How The Civil War Became A War To Free The Slaves
When President Lincoln first called for troops to put down the confederate rebellion, he made no
connection between this action and an attempt to end slavery. In fact, he explicitly stated the utmost
care will be observed to avoid any devastation, any destruction of, or interference with, property... At
this point, slaverywas not yet integral to the struggle, it was much more important for the Union
to air on the side of political prudence and avoid angering loyal boarder states. However, despite
this lack of political dialogue, many abolitionists, slaves, and free blacks felt the war to preserve
the union could also be a war to end slavery. In the end, they were right, as military need
overwhelmed potential political dangers, slaves... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Despite these misgivings, the Union policy of returning slaves who had not been employed by
the Confederacy continued as the army moved through the boarder states. When they began to
move deeper south, however, this policy became much more difficult to enforce. General
Ambrose E. Burnside found this to be true after invading coastal North Carolina and finding
virtually no loyal slaveholders but many slaves who seemed to be wild with excitement and
delight. This, combined with ever increasing recognition of fugitive slave labors importance to
the Union war effort, led Congress to declare in March 1892 that Union soldiers were forbidden
to return fugitive slaves to their owners. Even with this change in policy, the federal government
continued to overrule emancipation efforts as they attempted to retain the loyalty of
slaveholding boarder states. When General David Hunter proclaimed freedom for all slaves in
South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, he was quickly overruled by President Lincoln. However,
while Lincoln clearly stuck down General Hunter s proclamation, he also offered aid to the
boarder states so they may adopt a gradual abolishment of slavery. Despite this set back, Hunter
continued to work for the emancipation of slaves, and went so far as to enlist ex slaves as soldiers
without any authorization to do so. Although his actions may have been

King Arthur Virginity
The Question of Virginity: Catherine of Aragon to Arthur, Prince of Wale It was the year 1527
and England s future was hanging by a thread. The fate of this formidable nation relied on the
possible events that had taken place on a straw bed nearly thirty years prior. Catherine of
Aragon, King Henry VIII s first wife, was once married to the King s brother, Arthur. However,
before Arthur could ever take the throne, he died after only a few months of marriage. Henry, after
papal dispensation, soon married Catherine himself. It wasn t until about 20 years into their

Some historians claim that it was the mesmerizing Anne Boleyn that struck a chord in the King s
heart, persuading him to divorce Catherine. However, his discontent with his first marriage
begins earlier than that. Although historians cannot pinpoint the exact date, it is noted that
Henry began questioning their marriage as early as 1524 or 1525 when physicians informed
him that Catherine was reaching menopause. Furthermore, the birth of his illegitimate son,
Henry Fitzroy, to his mistress, Bessie Blount, in 1519 is proof that Henry was capable of
producing a healthy, living son. When Catherine reached the age of forty, she had been pregnant
seven times, six of the children dying within days of delivery. These pregnancies took a toll on
Catherine s body and she was declining in her physical charms . Her inability to provide a male
heir threatened the line of succession and furthered Henry s dissatisfaction By 1527, he had
become completely infatuated with Anne Boleyn and had begun finding ways to get rid of
Catherine. He began speaking of guilt and the feeling of incest from marrying his brother s wife
and would often cite Leviticus 20:16 ( If a man shall take his brother s wife, it is an impurity; he
heath uncovered his brother s nakedness; they shall be childless ). Though Henry and Catherine
were able to have a daughter, the lack of a male heir was enough to torment Henry. The King

Stephen Foster Research Paper
Stephen Foster was a musician and songwriter during the 1800s. He wrote over 200 songs
during his lifetime with tunes that are still very popular today. He didn t earn a very large sum of
money for his music in his life, but he would be worth millions today if he was still alive ( Stephen

Foster became known as The Father of American Music because he was a child prodigy, he used

work of famous musicians such as Bach and Mozart. He learned how to play various musical
instruments when he was very young (Krull 45). This early interest in music gave Stephen
Foster an early love for the art of music and the aspiration of becoming a musician. Stephen
Foster was a child prodigy and began to write and play songs at a very early age. It was said that
Foster couldn t sit down at the piano without playing a brand new song (Krull 45). When Foster

A Character Analysis Of George In Seinfeld s The Pitch
On July 5th 1989, a sitcom was born into this world that would lead television into a revolution
in comedy. Seinfeld was a television sitcom that ran for about nine seasons hosted by NBC. It
was unique in a couple of ways. One of, if not, the best way it was unique was its entire premise.
In the episode, The Pitch, the character called George sums up the shows premise in one sentence,
Everybody s doing something, we ll do nothing. All the sitcoms around this time, such as the Fresh

substantial for the city, but doesn t spread any further within that paper. It is one of the first tabloids

John Keats in his poem refers to it like as if it was a person when he says thy hair soft lifted by the
winnowing wind saying that it lifts your hair and on the line before it is wrote thee sitting
careless on a granary floor I believe this also refers to a person as we aren t perfect and people are
careless so he could be referring to it as a kind of lazy person who just sits around all day looking
beautiful. A few lines further on it says and sometimes like a gleaner thou dost keep this meaning
that when it picks things up it picks them up and once again referring to a person on how they pick

John Keats seems to go into detail in the surroundings of Autumn when he mentions the moss`d

Descent From The Cross Analysis
Group 1, Question A
Catalina s masculine behaviors in her autobiography demonstrates how gender was socially
constructed in both Europe and America during the colonial era. One scene in particular is,
Meanwhile, some boys noticed me and surrounded me until, annoyed, I picked up some rocks
and injured one of them (I don t know where because I didn t see) They arrested me and kept me
in jail for one long month until he healed and they released me, with a little money remaining after
my expenses (2). In this scene she stands her own ground against a group of men with violence
rather than submitting to them or running away. Women during this era were not expected to
defend themselves or fight back. That is more acceptable action for men to perform. Her violent
behavior put her in jail not because she is unjust for defending herself, but because she struck a
man and it was not socially acceptable for a woman to do so. During this era women were not

Why The Articles Of Confederation
This essay will examine why the Articles of Confederation; the first national compact that had
executive branch and legislative branch with limited national government power, failed to solve
national problems, inflation, depression. After the American Revolution, Americans were very
suspicious with a strong central government, as they think the United State government would
control over tariff and limited human rights just like what Great Britain had done in the past. On
July of 1776, John Dickinson submitted a blueprint for a strong national government to the
Continental Congress, however, his colleagues transformed his plan into a government that needs
the state s authority to execute any taxes, laws, or amendments. Since the national government
holds very little power, this created many conflicts such as tariffs, lack of finances to maintain the
army, no power to end rebellions. It was impossible for the Article of Confederation to solve any
postwar problems that America was facing at that time due to high unemployed sailors, debt ridden
farmers, and destitute widows and orphans.
The Articles of Confederation gives the congress to raise taxes, but the state has the authority to
deny to pay its expenses. The states paid roughly seventy percent of what they owed, most states
paid remarkably less (Georgia did not paid anything). This article negatively impacted America. As
America just granted independence from Great Britain, it was a very fresh country, the stability of

New Immigration Policy
Today, there are almost 11 million immigrants, living illegally in the U.S., creating a massive
problem for the U.S. government. What could be a possible new immigration policy? For the past
several years, the government has been seeking a solution to this difficult task, yet the issue still
remains unsolved. Groups like the Task Force, and even former U.S. President Bush proposed
different ideas pertaining to change in the U.S. immigrationpolicy, which can be compared and
contrasted to a recently proposed Option 5. First and foremost, there were many similarities
between the ideas suggested by Option 5, the Task Force and President Bush. It was agreed
between the groups that, despite numerous problems pertaining to the immigrants, the vast majority
of them are people who came to America to work hard to support their families, practice their
faiths, and lead responsible lives. For that reason, all three groups believe that a temporary work
permit program would greatly benefit both the illegal immigrants and the U.S. government.
The ideas of each group were comparable, in terms of giving the immigrants an option to apply
for temporary visas or green cards. This option may solve the major problem with illegals trying
to sneak across the Mexico border, and encourage them to take the proper route into America. The
temporary work permits will provide low wage employees for employers in America, to fill in the

CYBR 610 T301 Risk Management Studies (2171 1)
Professor Steven Maestas October 17, 2016
Case Study Draft2 Abstract A case study is a situation of events that involves a real or
hypothetical scenario that includes real life problems if ever one to occur. Case studies are one
of the most beneficial problem solving techniques a business can invest in because they can help
improve decision making and help to identity flaws in current systems. Analyzing case studies
requires critical thinking and knowledge of the subject in order to predict the outcome. For any
business to learn from a case study the best practice is to be put in a situation, but to understand
the value acting it out as if it s really happening is where it is effective. The case study The
Olympics and the risks that comes with it below details the issues of risk and how critical thinking,
knowledge and patience can apply to mitigate threats that can have significant impact.

America. Malcolm X, born Malcolm Little and also known as El Hajj Malik El Shabazz spoke out
against the effects of discrimination, racism and segregation. He went through many different

changed the way Malcolm Xthought were his experiences while incarcerated, his entering into
the religion of Islam by following Elijah Muhammad, and the biggest turning point in his life, his

Summary Of West Of Myself By Debora Greger
Among the various structural and thematic elements, Debora Greger s West of Myself provides
a sense of nostalgia and reminiscence of the past. The poem illustrates how life and memory are
not so easily remembered or taken. The speaker of the poem is dramatizing her inner conflict
and chastising herself for the direction her life has taken and where she believes it will befall.
The compelling force for the creation of the work might have been to express memories of living
a life and reflection, looking at life from hindsight. The poem reveals where she once thought the
right way in life was to go and where she now thinks the right way would have been. Equally
essential as the narrative in poetic writing is the overall effect of language structure and description.
Although there is no distinct rhythm or rhyme to this poem, it is through language and structure
that the text is made inviting. In the blank verse, Why are you still seventeen.../ dragging a shadow
you ve found? (1), this metaphor for a borrowed lifestyle facilitates a feeling of lost identity and
nostalgia for the past. By incorporating such language, and by choosing a self proclaimed rhetorical
question, the speaker adds to the effect of personal obscurity. An immense component of the entire
poem are the combined stanzas: that s not the road you want,/ though you have it to yourself. This
emulates the feeling of regret. In continuation of the metaphorical self evaluation of the poem, it
supports the idea

Another disadvantage of advertising online is the web started to contain a lot of rubbish

Kathy(2013) states that the next point is the disadvantage of TV advertising. The major concern of

The Jade Peony Analysis
During this time people think that tradition has always been a trait of people stuck in the past,
never up to date with what was the style at the time. In The Jade Peony, Wayson Choy writes about,

The beginning of the story starts with Sek Lung remembering some moments with her. Being the
youngest, I had spent nearly all my time with her and could not imagine that we would ever be
parted. Sek Lung making this statement shows his youth and how he did not fully understand the
workings of the world. Along with that, it shows the strength of his relationship with his
grandmother. Along with his memories of being with her he remembers how he idolized her,

Taking a Look at Harp Lager
1. Brand History.
Harp lager was launched in 1960. It was first brewed in the Great Northern Brewery in Dundalk.
The drink was created under the guidance of Dr. Herman Muender who fused German beer
knowledge with Irish brewing heritage. Harp which is now owned by the drinks company
Diageo fast became the most popular lager brand in Ireland. When it was launched it was
marketed as a new modern drink that would appeal to young males and females alike. It was a
sister brand of Guinness which was associated with older men in the country. Slogans used in the
initial marketing campaigns included Have you heard the call yet and Brewed in Ireland naturally
evoking a sense of pride in the home brewed beer during the troubles in the country. It became
the first mass marketed draught lager in Ireland and the UK. Harp remained successful through
the 80s and into the 90s when some of its advertisements helped launch the careers of TV
personalities such as Jonathan Ross. However, the brand never reached the same success it had
in the 70s when it held the majority of the market share. The brand was re launched in 1994
coinciding with the World Cup, sales rose by 12%. However this re launch didn t result in
continued consumer loyalty and this boost soon subsided. Last year Diageo Ireland launched a

design was inspired by the Samuel Beckett bridge in Dublin the new look was meat to be

Worldview In Philip Pullman s The Golden Compass
Whether writers know it or not, their worldview seeps into their writing. An author s worldview
in his writing is similar to the way many people talk. They discuss their opinions openly. People

write their opinions in their books. The Golden Compass was written by Philip Pullman. His

Revelation 1:7 says Look, he is coming with the clouds, [a] and every eye will see him even
those who pierced him ; and all peoples on earth will mourn because of him. [b]So shall it be!
Amen. This verse clearly states that Jesus will return. Undoubtedly, Jesus was a source of life
and hope for the disciples. He used miracles to save hundreds of people s lives. Although Jesus
did not use a magic wand, He taught His disciples and healed cripples and lepers. Tolkien clearly
meant Gandalf to be a type of Christ. Gandalf s and Jesus s followers heavily relied upon their
leadership and protection. In the Bible, the Last Supper is reverently mentioned in all four of
the Gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John all record the Last Supper as the last meal that the
disciples shared with Christ. In Matthew 26:21 Jesus says, I tell you the truth, one of you will
betray me. to which Judas replies, Surely not I, Rabbi? Later Judas betrays Jesus to Pilate, and he is
whipped, stripped of his clothes and nailed to a cross made for a

Genetic Diversity In America
Genetic diversity is the variation of heritable characteristics in genetic makeup present in a
population of the same species i.e. variation in the nucleotides, genes, chromosomes, or whole
genomes of organisms. The species with greater genetic diversity has a chance of long time
survival. Knowledge of diversity in a germplasm is very important for the improvement of crop
plants through breeding program (Hallauer and Miranda Filho 1988). Assessment of genetic
diversity is essential to understand the relationship among and within the landraces, as well as their
genetic structure. It is also valuable for setting priorities for genetic conservation, parental selection
and as a source of favorable traits.
(Ferriol, Pico et al. 2004) analysed 47 accessions of C. moschata featuring the morphological
characters which revealed considerable variability, comparable to that found in different C.
moschata centers of diversity. Molecular analysis through AFLP (amplified fragment length
polymorphism) markers which analyze neutral genetic diversity and SRAP (sequence related
amplified polymorphism) markers, which amplify gene regions both showed a genetic diversity in
accordance with the morphological variability. With both markers clustered the genotypes
according to their geographical origin: Central America, South America, and Spain, which
suggested the existence of two independent domestications in both American areas, and/or
introgressions from related species. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
2011) analysed 39 inbred lines with twenty agronomic characters of C. moschata from China which
were investigated and showed rich diversities among them. The diversities of the twenty characters

Genoghhis Khan And The Legacy Of Genghis Khan
Genghis Khan was undoubtedly one of the most vicious and brutal leaders in world history.
However, the legacy of Khan is also one of cultural development, artistic achievement, an elegant
way of life and an entire continent united under the Pax Mongolia. The famed leader and his
successors created the largest empire ever to exist, spanning across the entire Asian continent. An
empire as such could not have been created without strong leadership, stellar organizational skills
and the most resilient army ever known. Genghis Khanmay be well known for his brutality and
destructive cavalry however, Khan did good for his own people and earned the Mongolians a
reputation of glory. Genghis Khan was an emperor, who lead his people in such a way that was
accepted in the tenth century. Back then war was a very reality, and if it involved massacres, then
it was generally tolerated. However, many people forget that Khan s rampage left such a path of
destruction that he irrevocably destroyed entire empires and populations in the interest of habitable
environments. In more recent times, people have pointed out that Joseph Stalin was responsible for
nearly twenty million deaths. This death toll would have made him more brutal than the Nazis,
who held a death total of seventeen million people(White). Yet, Stalin cannot even compare to the
brutality of the Mongols under the leadership of Khan. Genghis Khan was responsible for the
deaths of roughly forty million people, and he was glad to

Afghanistan called the crossroads of Central Asia. Its strategically important location has made it an

  • 2. Pros And Cons Of Donald Trump I will build a great wall and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me and I ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words. Is this what we want the next president of the United States to do? I believe we should stop Donald Trumpfrom being able to do this and choose to vote for Hillary Clinton. First off, Donald Trump is a businessman not a politician. He treats all people of color as if they are immigrants or terrorists. Trump says he wants Americans to feel safe from immigrants, but he really wants america to be a white only country. Treating woman with no respect is not what we want for our future. If he becomes president he wants to end Obama s two illegal executive amnesties. He will insure that all all immigration laws will be enforced. Anyone who enters the U.S. illegally is subject to deportation, also he will make sure all illegal immigrants will be deported the minute they are issued to be. One of the main ways he will be doing this by getting rid of job benefits since so many illegal immigrants come to the U.S. looking for jobs. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It can be done on people and animals after they are dead. People think that cloning will ease the pain of the dead when the clone is not the same person. The person or animal is gone and the clone is not going to ease the pain. You just have to deal with the pain and you will slowly get through it cloning will never get rid of it. • 4. Toussaint LOuverture Analysis Toussaint L Ouverture essay This eloquent by Wendell Phillips speech takes a journey back to Toussaint L Ouverture s time as being the most powerful Haitian leader. The timing of this speech is impeccable because it is prior to the Civil War, during which there was simmering debate over African Americanmilitary service. The speech is primarily aimed at northerners but it can also be interpreted as a stern message or rebuke to southerners. The key goal of the speech is to persuade northerners that African Americans would make a valuable addition to the Union army. Phillips is a white abolitionist himself, which establishes a sense of ethos. Throughout the speech Phillips asserts that despite history being against Toussaint L Ouverture, he is a man of honor and is above all the rest. This is achieved by outlining his little known accomplishments and humble beginnings. Phillips argues that despite many odds, he routs the British, the French, and the Spaniards: from the reluctant testimony of Britons, Frenchmen, Spaniards As a result of these numerous European defeats, history is reluctantly written to acknowledge the losses suffered by Europe and the triumph of the Haitians. This helps the audience understand that L Ouverture is not be underestimated, which then enables a sense of reverence for L Ouverture. Phillips goes on to argue that L Ouverture is self made and was victorious by virtue of his own skills: [Toussaint] forged a thunderbolt and hurled it This ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 6. Women and the Agricultural Revolution Essay Women and the Agricultural Revolution Elise Boulding in her article, Women and the Agricultural Revolution, argues that women played a key role in initiating the Agricultural Revolution. She defines the revolution as happening within two stages: horticulture and agriculture proper. Women had a prominent role within the earlier form, horticulture. Horticulture is defined as farming for subsistence only.Women s roles on the farm were not as dominant as society grew to farming for surplus instead. Boulding begins the article by discussing the shift society made from wandering nomads to settled villagers. She explains that it was women who recognized that plants could be easily domesticated. It was because of the domestication of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They did much of the planting and gathering, and Boulding states that women probably even constructed the mud houses in the early villages. In this horticulture society, children also helped women. They carryed out many chores on the farm, such as taking care of animals and gathering grain. These roles would change as farming shifted to agriculture proper. At horticulture stage, the farming of these early people was for the purpose of providing enough food for the family. In these farms, women were able to farm the lands without much aid. Instead, they used simple small hand tools to do the work. However, once the farms grew in size and they had a surplus of food, they required more help. Gradually, as the farms grew, there was a shift from merely farming to provide for the family, to farming for economic profit as well. As a result, Boulding argues that women were no longer the main workers on the farm. Women continued to help the development of the Agricultural Revolution despite their role change. Originally, women used digging sticks for gathering, planting, and growing plants. As the farming purpose changed, however, the tools changed as well. The plow and animals were used for cultivation, making women less visible on the field. Yet, women continued to help by creating baskets and discovering pottery, all of which enabled them to store more grain. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. The Man In The High Castle Analysis Human Reliance on Outside Forces We live in the world our questions create (David Cooperrider). Inquiry is the base of society, all answers come from questions that were once asked. Questioning can influence people s decisions to act in certain ways and determine how they live, and people s lives change the world. The Man in the High Castle, written by Philip K Dick, follows a full cast of characters from an endangered Jewish man named Frank Frink to a high up Japanese man named Mr. Tagomi. The book takes place in a world after World War Two, but one very different from present time, a world where Germany and Japan, along with the other Axis powers, won the war. The planet is overcome with racism and distrust. Jewish people are killed every day and the ones still alive are forced into hiding and change their names. Both men live very different lives, Frink is in hiding as a Jew while Tagomi is a wealthy antique seller. The one thing they have in common is the I Ching, a highly regarded oracle of sorts. It predicts the future and provides advice along with it; and everyone follows that advice no matter what they are told. They do this partially because after the Axis powers won the war, every person was required to have an I Ching in their home. This caused the residents to become reliant on the oracle for their every need. The I Ching provides advice in the form of special hexagrams which have a corresponding prophecy of sorts. The Internal Combustion Engine 1Introduction Since the advent of the internal combustion engine nearly two centuries ago, humans have become increasingly reliant on fuel to power these engines. Our only method, historically, for obtaining this fuel is to probe the earth and oceans until crude oil is struck. Crude oil is termed a fossil fuel as it takes hundreds of millions of years to form. Crude oil is extracted from a geological reservoir and subsequently refined into the various fuels which we use at ever increasing rates (petroleum, diesel, aviation fuel etc). Unfortunately we are not finding new oil deposits at anything like the rates we are consuming, so logically we will eventually run out. Many of the alternate energy sources currently available (electric engines, fuel cells and ethanol) have low energy density and do not scale well to larger vehicles like aeroplanes and trucks. Therefore finding new renewable sources of energy to power our current and future devices is paramount to our continuation as a successful species. This project focuses on the prokaryotic enzyme, diacylglycerol acyltransferase 1 DGAT1 (not to be confused with eukaryotic DGA1P a protein which provides the same function but is very different in sequence and structure). This enzyme is encoded by the atf1 gene in Rhodococcus opacus PD630. DGAT is important because it catalyses the final, rate limiting step, in the Kennedy pathway. This step is the transfer of an acyl group from acyl CoA to diacylglycerol, creating ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Symbolism in Greasy Lake Greasy Lake Greasy Lake by Tom Coraghessan Boyle, is the story of a group of adolescents, searching for the one situation that will proclaim them as bad boys and how their minds change. As the story begins, the narrator gives the impression that he feels he and the others boys should have taken notice of some obvious clues about themselves. These clues would have led them to the conclusion that they were far from the bad guys they wished to be. However, the oblivious teenagers ignore these obvious signs and continue in search of their goal. In this story, Boyle uses many symbols to create the theme. • 10. Rational Actor Model There are many different models to explore why young people offend; Rational Actor, Predestined Actor and Victimised Actor (Stephenson M and Allen R. 2013). In exploring two of these models I will be using a case example CH. In looking at CH offending behaviour, it could be viewed that he fits in to the Rational Actor model. This model explores the idea that young people had the choice to offend; CH woke up and made the choice to go and rob someone in order to obtain money to get cannabis. The benefit of the offending behaviour out weights the consequences; CH s need to get high out weight the consequences of being arrested for a serious offence which could lead to custody. With this in mind the view of tacking offending behaviour of a young person that fits with the Rational Actor is that the punishment must out weight the benefits of the behaviour and must become harsher, greater and more serious as the offending escalates; options for sentencing was DTO (Detention and training Order) for a significant length of time or Youth Rehabilitation Order with Intense supervision (YRO 25 hours a week). Adapted from Hopkins Burke (2008: 88) the five points the Rational Actor model: Humans are rational beings who enjoy free will. People choose to engage in criminal behaviour. Society must punish criminals to deter individuals wrongdoers and other would be criminals. Punishment should be proportional to the offence committed. Punishment must be guaranteed and ... Neural Mechanisms in Controlling Eating Behaviour Outline and evaluate the role of neural mechanisms in controlling eating behaviour (24 marks) Today there is enormous interest in the psychological factors that can affects a person s eating habits, but some of the clearest research findings have come from research into the brain (neural) mechanisms controlling eating behaviour. One important mechanism to consider is the role of homeostasis in all mammals. Homeostasis is how the body maintains a constant internal environment. Our diet is essential to homeostasis as it provides the nutrients that allow physiological processes to be regulated within narrow limits. The body has evolved two separate systems one for turning eating on and one for turning eating off . Glucose levels are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The protein leptin is produced in response to satiation which is secreted into the bloodstream from fat tissue, leading to fat loss and decreased appetite. To support the role of this protein, Zhang et.al injected two copies of the gene for obesity into some mice and these ob/ob mice had a tendency to overeat. They discovered that the ob/ob mice had a defective gene for the protein leptin and were unable to experience a decrease in appetite as well as fat loss. However, injecting these mice with leptin caused them to lose weight dramatically. This shows how proteins also have a role in controlling our eating behaviour and not only neural mechanisms. Moreover, thinking about a food makes us feel hungry but also food related smells and sights. The neural control of these cognitive factors in hunger probably originates in the main brain area the amygdala and the inferior prefrontal cortex. The amygdala plays a role in selecting foods based on previous experience. To support this, Rolls and Rolls found that surgically removing the amygdala in rats would cause the animals to consume both familiar and novel foods indiscriminately, whereas amygdala intact rats would initially avoid novel foods and consume only the more palatable familiar foods instead. This suggests how our previous experience in eating certain foods alters what we eat due to the role of the amygdala processing such ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Change in the cultural or social attitude has greatest impact on architecture. Thus it would be generic to conclude that the role of culture in promoting an architectural style or era is an essential part of its existence. Roemer van Toorn1 states that Matters concerning architecture are no longer about being popular but about creating the popular. But the main idea to the proposal suggests that Contemporary architecture has already been absorbed by the popular. It is now a part of the scene, a part of what we call popular culture. The popular culture is more defined by what is displayed in mass medias such as the MTV or Lifestyle magazines or Daily newspapers. Popular culture is entangled with consumer culture2, basically suggesting that popular is what is popularly consumed or accepted. And as architecture has crossed the threshold to the field of mass media and popular consumption, it had indeed gone pop! that being a part of popular culture. The Minimalism3 and Pop Art both art movements came up about the same time. Both these movements posed a question on art s autonomy as represented by the institutionalization of abstract painting. Moreover, both proposed that the art escaped the privilege of the unique artistic object and its corresponding museum context. The movement had different approaches though. Minimalist created objects that would focus the attention on the industrialization of manufacture and on the spatial experience. While, pop art reconnected to the outside world of popular culture and mass consumption. When Robert Venturi4 proposed that architecture can be drawn from popular visual culture of the contemporary urban landscape, he was unaware of the potential of the happenings of today. In fact later he was accused by detractors of using the idea of popular culture to reinforce architecture s position at the high end of cultural spectrum. The popular forms and images were absorbed into the vocabulary and architecture thus regained its determinant role of popular taste. Although this fictional novel is a fun and intense adventure story, the author s themes are directed towards everyday life. Some of the themes that this novel entails are, the calling of becoming a hero, the trails that shape a person s character, and the helpers in a person s life that shape a person to be able to reach their full potential. J.R.R. Tolkien uses this novel to express these everyday themes. The calling of a hero is one of themes that Tolkien expresses through the character Bilbo Baggins. Fine qualities can consist of things such as strength, athletic ability, and also things like knowledge and people skills. Everyone has the ability to be a hero. This, combined with ever increasing recognition of fugitive slave labors importance to the Union war effort, led Congress to declare in March 1892 that Union soldiers were forbidden to return fugitive slaves to their owners. Even with this change in policy, the federal government continued to overrule emancipation efforts as they attempted to retain the loyalty of slaveholding boarder states. Women during this era were not expected to defend themselves or fight back. That is more acceptable action for men to perform. Her violent behavior put her in jail not because she is unjust for defending herself, but because she struck a man and it was not socially acceptable for a woman to do so. According to Merriam Webster s definition of family is, A group of people related to each other (Merriam Webster 1). Although family can be defined as a relative, it can also mean a group of people who share the qualities of a family, such as caring, loving, and supportive. When playing in a team sport, it is necessary that all of the teammates share a special bond. • 31. Why The Articles Of Confederation This essay will examine why the Articles of Confederation; the first national compact that had executive branch and legislative branch with limited national government power, failed to solve national problems, inflation, depression. After the American Revolution, Americans were very suspicious with a strong central government, as they think the United State government would control over tariff and limited human rights just like what Great Britain had done in the past. On July of 1776, John Dickinson submitted a blueprint for a strong national government to the Continental Congress, however, his colleagues transformed his plan into a government that needs the state s authority to execute any taxes, laws, or amendments. Since the national government holds very little power, this created many conflicts such as tariffs, lack of finances to maintain the army, no power to end rebellions. It was impossible for the Article of Confederation to solve any postwar problems that America was facing at that time due to high unemployed sailors, debt ridden farmers, and destitute widows and orphans. The Articles of Confederation gives the congress to raise taxes, but the state has the authority to deny to pay its expenses. The states paid roughly seventy percent of what they owed, most states paid remarkably less (Georgia did not paid anything). This article negatively impacted America. As America just granted independence from Great Britain, it was a very fresh country, the stability of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

What could be a possible new immigration policy? For the past several years, the government has been seeking a solution to this difficult task, yet the issue still remains unsolved. Groups like the Task Force, and even former U.S. President Bush proposed different ideas pertaining to change in the U.S. immigrationpolicy, which can be compared and contrasted to a recently proposed Option 5. First and foremost, there were many similarities between the ideas suggested by Option 5, the Task Force and President Bush. It was agreed between the groups that, despite numerous problems pertaining to the immigrants, the vast majority of them are people who came to America to work hard to support their families, practice their faiths, and lead responsible lives. For that reason, all three groups believe that a temporary work permit program would greatly benefit both the illegal immigrants and the U.S. government. The ideas of each group were comparable, in terms of giving the immigrants an option to apply for temporary visas or green cards. This option may solve the major problem with illegals trying to sneak across the Mexico border, and encourage them to take the proper route into America. The temporary work permits will provide low wage employees for employers in America, to fill in the gaps that no ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... She became the darling of the Northern Catholics who hoped to remove that upstart commoner William Cecil and his Protestant Queen, replacing them with Mary. It seems to have been purely a political arrangement and it failed almost before it began, but the northern earls rose in revolt and died for the idea. 19 Parliament and the country at large clamored for the execution of the two principles. Norfolk was exacuted as a traitor and Mary s life was saved only by Elizabeth who refused to agree to Parliament s demands for her death. 20 Mary never learned from her past experience and continued to conspire against Elizabeth. Finally in 1586 letters were intercepted from Mary which conclusively proved her involvement in a plot organized by Anthony Babington to murder Elizabeth and a commission was set up to examine and try Mary at Fotheringhay Castle in Northamptonshire. 21 The commission, consisting of leading peers, councilors and judges, found Mary guilty on two charges of treason, and in November 1586 both Houses of Parliament unanimously petitioned Elizabeth to proceed to the just sentence of execution. 22 For two months Elizabeth agonized over the decision. She hated the thought of killing a relative as well she knew that Mary s death would arouse fierce resentment throughout Catholic Europe and would likely spark retaliation. 23 After endless thought and stalling, Elizabeth finally gave ... Malcolm X, born Malcolm Little and also known as El Hajj Malik El Shabazz spoke out against the effects of discrimination, racism and segregation. He went through many different stages in his life as he fought for equal treatment of colored individuals. The three stages that really changed the way Malcolm Xthought were his experiences while incarcerated, his entering into the religion of Islam by following Elijah Muhammad, and the biggest turning point in his life, his first and last pilgrimage to the holy Islamic city of Mecca. In all of Malcolm teachings, in his transformations and actions we can derive different viewpoints. While Malcolm X was incarcerated he had completed his first transformation in life. Like many past greats, they all suffered a low point in their lives. Malcolm X s low point was when he was into the usage of drugs, hustling, and money. He became so focused on making a lot of money, so much so that he and some of his friends decided to rob a house of an elderly white man. Malcolm and his friends were immediately caught for the crime and not only were they charged but were also charged with having sexual intercourse with white women. • 37. Summary Of West Of Myself By Debora Greger Among the various structural and thematic elements, Debora Greger s West of Myself provides a sense of nostalgia and reminiscence of the past. The poem illustrates how life and memory are not so easily remembered or taken. The speaker of the poem is dramatizing her inner conflict and chastising herself for the direction her life has taken and where she believes it will befall. The compelling force for the creation of the work might have been to express memories of living a life and reflection, looking at life from hindsight. The poem reveals where she once thought the right way in life was to go and where she now thinks the right way would have been. Equally essential as the narrative in poetic writing is the overall effect of language structure and description. Although there is no distinct rhythm or rhyme to this poem, it is through language and structure that the text is made inviting. In the blank verse, Why are you still seventeen.../ dragging a shadow you ve found? (1), this metaphor for a borrowed lifestyle facilitates a feeling of lost identity and nostalgia for the past. By incorporating such language, and by choosing a self proclaimed rhetorical question, the speaker adds to the effect of personal obscurity. An immense component of the entire poem are the combined stanzas: that s not the road you want,/ though you have it to yourself. This emulates the feeling of regret. In continuation of the metaphorical self evaluation of the poem, it supports the idea ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The drink was created under the guidance of Dr. Herman Muender who fused German beer knowledge with Irish brewing heritage. Harp which is now owned by the drinks company Diageo fast became the most popular lager brand in Ireland. When it was launched it was marketed as a new modern drink that would appeal to young males and females alike. It was a sister brand of Guinness which was associated with older men in the country. Slogans used in the initial marketing campaigns included Have you heard the call yet and Brewed in Ireland naturally evoking a sense of pride in the home brewed beer during the troubles in the country. It became the first mass marketed draught lager in Ireland and the UK. Genetic Diversity In America Genetic diversity is the variation of heritable characteristics in genetic makeup present in a population of the same species i.e. variation in the nucleotides, genes, chromosomes, or whole genomes of organisms. The species with greater genetic diversity has a chance of long time survival. Knowledge of diversity in a germplasm is very important for the improvement of crop plants through breeding program (Hallauer and Miranda Filho 1988). Assessment of genetic diversity is essential to understand the relationship among and within the landraces, as well as their genetic structure. It is also valuable for setting priorities for genetic conservation, parental selection and as a source of favorable traits. (Ferriol, Pico et al. 2004) analysed 47 accessions of C. moschata featuring the morphological characters which revealed considerable variability, comparable to that found in different C. moschata centers of diversity. Molecular analysis through AFLP (amplified fragment length polymorphism) markers which analyze neutral genetic diversity and SRAP (sequence related amplified polymorphism) markers, which amplify gene regions both showed a genetic diversity in accordance with the morphological variability.
