We are interested in participating in the lighthouse pilot "art-inspired interactive human-centred environments", particularly in the context of smart cities, cars and homes. Our own philosophy centres around user-centric technology and we are interested in testing smart solutions in a more realistic 4-dimensional environment employing alternative thinking that is grounded outside of traditional ICT avenues. This is particularly important when dealing with personal data implicit in smart devices and the human aspect of society. We believe that by creating novel and creative experiences in an artistic environment, new technologies and usage scenarios can be more realistically tested.

Smart Cities - Measuring levels of supply and demand for e-services and e-gov...Smart Cities Project
Most cities offer some kind of e-government services, from a simple e-mail form to the most sophisticated applications. Often this offer is mainly content- and technology driven, and not based on the needs and expectations of the different target groups. In order to develop a well balanced e-government vision and operation, it has to be more than a (re)organisation of technological platforms. It has to be founded on the relationship between a government and its different target groups: citizens, companies, associations.
The best way to map out this relationship is a well balanced survey that looks at the digital services and information from both a demand perspective (citizen, local companies and associations) and a supplier’s perspective (municipality and city services).

Cyclic open innovation framework with big data of citiesHELENA LEE
Many believe that “big data” will transform business, government, and other aspects of
the economy. But there is little framework or formulation for application of big data in
realization to apply to innovation framework. In this article we discuss how big data takes
the role to explain impact of open innovation with cities and suggest specific framework
for open innovation of cities. Also we outline some of the challenges in accessing and
making use of this framework.

This is a presentation of a poster at ISIC2020 which considers the relationship between the established concept of "information intermediaries" and a new concept of "digital proxy", which is initially defined here to be “individuals who assist others manage their online information presence”. This is done in the context of information behaviour and everyday life information practices. It is comprised of the findings from two studies (informal support for managing digital identity provided by information professionals; proxied management of social media presences for people with dementia) which have helped to identify different issues relevant to the concept of proxies in online environments.

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs
