The document describes a smart car parking system using IoT. The system uses sensors like IR sensors and a wifi module connected to an Arduino board to detect available parking spots. This information is sent to a mobile app to guide drivers to empty spots, reducing congestion and emissions. The system's advantages include shorter wait times, fuel savings, and directing users to open spaces. It has applications in malls, restaurants, and theaters to more efficiently manage parking.

Parking management systems have now become a necessity to guide people in a parking place and ensure efficient parking of vehicles. It allows managing the traffic and keep the parking space safe.
With the vast growing influx of population in the developed, industrially and technologically sound urban cities, an urgent need to make the cities smart is surmounted. The cities are made smart utilizing data sharing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, analytics, and thousands of RFID tags and sensors. One of the significant concerns of today's smart cities is the growing need to manage the vehicles on-road as well as to create sufficient and well-managed parking lots to prevent urban areas from traffic congestion. This leads to a call for highly automated parking management system self-sufficient in guiding the driver to an available parking space in the nearby area. This project deals with the prototype of the smart parking system (S.P system). The proposed smart parking system collects the parking availability status and assists drivers in finding parking space that effectively reduces the traffic problems and mismanagement across the cities to a great extent.
Today, every person facing the problem of traffic jam on the road, road accident is the measure problem for us. So this device “SMART VEHICLE SECURA”, which can be useful for stopping the accident and also useful for saving the life of human being. It is a device that works to provide the security of the vehicles.
This project uses soil moisture sensor and if the soil is dry, a mechanism to water the soil is set into motion. The whole circuit is controlled by the micro-controller based Arduino Uno Development Board.

IOT Cloud Based Real Time Automobile Monitoring SystemDr. Amarjeet Singh
Smart sensing has had a significant impact on defining our future in recent years. The field of IOT is a recent technical innovation that has caused a change in lifestyle (Internet of things). IoT refers to the internetworking of physical equipment and other items that are equipped with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity to allow data to be collected from them. Transportation is a booming industry in India, with the number of vehicles on the road increasing by the day. Monitoring vehicle metrics such as gasoline, temperature, and battery level without having to touch the car is perfect. In this digital age, a digital locking mechanism is desperately needed. When your vehicle is not with you, vehicle tracking is also essential. Here, car tracking is designed using GPS to conveniently locate the user's vehicle. The IoT cloud-based real-time automotive monitoring system is capable of monitoring our vehicle's metrics such as fuel level, battery level, engine temperature, and speed, as well as tracking the driver's alcohol percentage via an Android application. We receive an alert when one of these metrics crosses a certain threshold. Its Smart RFID digital key secures your vehicle even more than keys do. We may save our vehicle documents, driver's licences, insurance copies, and other documents in this project's Android application. Whenever an accident occurs, send a message to trusted people with the location.
Design and implement WSN/IOT smart parking management system using microcontr...IJECEIAES
With the dramatic expansion of new networks such as Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) and Internet-of-Things (IoT), tremendous opportunities have been emerged to incorporate such technologies for valuable tasks. One of these tasks is the smart car parking where there is an imperative demand to manage the parking in various facilities, which may help drivers to save their time. Several research studies have addressed this task using wide range of approaches. However, the energy consumption is still a serious concern. This paper proposes a smart car parking based on cloud-based approach along with variety of sensors. Passive Infrared Sensors (PIRs) have been used to sense the object motion. While Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensors have been utilized to sense the light of the parking alarm and display information regarding the occupied and non-occupied parking lots. Finally, multi-micro controller of Arduino have been exploited in order to transmit the information collected to the server. Finally, a prototype Android application has been developed in order to receive the information from the server. Results of simulation showed the efficacy of the proposed method.
: This paper is aimed at designing a density based dynamic traffic signal system where the timing
of signal will change automatically on sensing the traffic density at any junction using the IoT technology. Traffic
congestion is a severe problem in most cities across the world and therefore it is time to shift more manual mode
or fixed timer mode to an automated system with decision making capabilities. To optimize this problem, we have
made a framework for an intelligent traffic control system. Sometimes higher traffic density at one side of the
junction demands longer green time as compared to standard allotted time. We therefore propose here a
mechanism in which the time period of green light and red light is assigned on the basis of the density of the
traffic present at the time. This is achieved by using LIDAR sensors.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

3. What is an iot?
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical
objects or "things" embedded with electronics, software,
sensors, and network connectivity, which enables these
objects to collect and exchange data.
5. Why it is needed
People cannot find parking in popular places.
Especially during holidays, traffic is always bad.
People cannot locate their car in large parking slots
12. Conclusion -
The system benefits of smart parking go well beyond
avoiding time wasting.
Developing a smart parking solutions with in a city solves
the pollution problem.
13. Future scope -
The future of the smart parking system is expected to be
significantly influenced by the arrival of automated vehicles
(AVs). Several cities around the world are already beginning to
trial self-parking vehicles, specialized AV parking lots, and
robotic parking valets.
