Problem statement definition
UseSuitable sensors to identify vacant car parking slots and
highlight the available slots in the interface , which is a mobile app.
Count the number of cars that have been parked in the given day using
Cloud Based Data Visualization.
4.
Solution to theproblem
• Smart parking is a parking strategy that combines
technology and human innovation in such a manner that
which reduces the traffic issues, proper space utilization and
to achieve faster , easier and denser parking of vehicles.
• Identifies empty slot through mobile app.
• User can book the parking slot.
• After booking data is stored in cloud.
5.
Why we needSmart parking ?
Due to the problems mentioned below we need smart
parking
• Unorganized parking
• Traffic issues
• Time management
• Increase in number of vehicles
• Road side parking

Working
• User loginin mobile app
• IR sensor detect the presence of car
• Find empty slot
• If slot available given to the user
• Sends data to firebase
• Information in app is updated
9.
SWOT Analysis
• Managethe parking system
• Saves time & energy
• Free and Easy access to app
• Easy to implement
• Doesn’t work fine outside
the sunlight
• Range of IR sensor
• To be accepted by driver
culture
• Illiteracy of user
• Can be implemented in any
parking system
• Reduces Pollution
• High future scope due to
increase in number of
vehicles

MARKETING ANALYSIS
• E-marketingis the best way to reach thousands of customers at once.
• Social Media marketing is the one way to lure the customers.
• Platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. are widely used
social media platforms.
• Marketing can be done by creating ads in other mobile apps.
• Television ads and radio ads also play a major role in advertising.
• Print advertising is the way to reach our customers directly.
ESTIMATED COST OFPROPOSED TECHNOLOGY
•We have used ESP8266 as microcontroller which
costs us around 360
• Other components like IR sensors which costs us
around 60 each making the overall cost of the
technology near about 800 rupees
14.
Conclusion
• Our smartparking system project is planned to integrated
with another software application to help drivers to find
empty spot in parking lot more easily with less time.
