Sixth Sense is a wearable technology developed by Pranav Mistry that allows users to access digital information by using hand gestures. It consists of a camera, projector, and mirror connected to a smartphone. The camera tracks hand gestures with color markers on the fingers and sends the data to the smartphone for processing. The smartphone then sends information to the projector, which projects the data onto the mirror and surfaces around the user. Some applications include getting the time by drawing a circle on the wrist, projecting maps and making calls. The technology aims to augment the physical world with digital information accessible through natural hand gestures.
'Sixth Sense' is a wearable gestural interface that augments the physical world around us with digital Information and lets us use natural hand gestures to interact with that information. All of us are aware of the five basic senses - seeing, feeling, smelling,
tasting and hearing. But there is also another sense called the sixth sense. Sixth Sense Technology is the science of tomorrow with the aim of connecting the digital world with the physical world seamlessly, eliminating hardware devices. This combination of devices and software together create a reality in which the digital world is merged with the physical world.

Credit card fraud is a growing problem that affects card holders around the world. Fraud detection has been an interesting topic in machine learning. Nevertheless, current state of the art credit card fraud detection algorithms miss to include the real costs of credit card fraud as a measure to evaluate algorithms. In this paper a new comparison measure that realistically represents the monetary gains and losses due to fraud detection is proposed. Moreover, using the proposed cost measure a cost sensitive method based on Bayes minimum risk is presented. This method is compared with state of the art algorithms and shows improvements up to 23% measured by cost. The results of this paper are based on real life transactional data provided by a large European card processing company.

SixthSense is a gestural interface device comprising a neckworn pendant that contains both a data projector and camera. Headworn versions were also built at MIT Media Lab in 1997 that combined cameras and illumination systems for interactive photographic art, and also included gesture recognition (e.g. finger-tracking using colored tape on the fingers).
SixthSense is a name for extra information supplied by a wearable computer, such as the device called "WuW" (Wear yoUr World) by Pranav Mistry et al., building on the concept of the Telepointer, a neckworn projector and camera combination first proposed and reduced to practice by MIT Media Lab student Steve Mann.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
3. INTRODUCTION
Sixth
Sense is a wearable gesture interface
that augments the physical world around us
with digital information and lets you use
natural hand gestures to interact with that
information.
It is developed by Pranav Mistry,a Phd
student in the Fluid Interfaces Group at MIT
media lab.
Sixth sense prototype is comprised of - a
pocket projector,a mirror and a camera.
4. The
camera,mirror and projector are
connected
wirelessly
to
bluetooth
smartphone device that can easily fit into
user's pocket.
A software then processes the data that is
collected by capturing device and produces
analysis.
6. Why sixth sense
Hereby
physical world is painted with digital
information.
You
can carry your digital world with you
wherever you go.
You
can start with any wall or any other
surface as an interface even your palm.
8. 1)
CAMERA:
It captures an object in view and tracks the
users hand gestures.
It sends data to smartphone.
It acts as a digital eye, connecting you to
world of digital information.
9. 2)
PROJECTOR:
The projector projects visual information enabling
surfaces and physical objects to be used as
interfaces.
The projector contains a battery inside with 3 hours
of battery life.
A tiny LED projector displays data sent from the
smartphone on any surface in view.
10. 3) COLOR MARKERS:
It is at the tip of user's fingers.
Marking the user's fingers with color tapes
helps the web cam recognize gestures.
The movements and arrangements of these
markers are interpreted into gestures that act as
instructions for projected application interfaces.
11. 4) MIRROR:
The usage of mirror is significant as the
projector dangles pointing downwards from
the neck.
12. SMARTPHONE:
A web enabled smartphone in user's pocket
processes the video data.
Other software searches web and interprets
the hand gestures.
14. Firstly, the images, pictures or gestures
are captured by the camera.
These images are then send to smartphone
for processing.
After being processed,the information is
send to the projector.
The projector projects the images onto the
mirror.
The mirror displays the information on the
desired surface.
21. 6 ) Zooming features:
By using sixth sense prototype, the user can
zoom in or zoom out pictures by using
intuitive hand movements.
22. ADVANTAGES
Portable
Connects digital world and physical world.
Supports multitouch and multiuser
interaction.
Cost effective
Data access directly from machine in real
time.
23. CONCLUSION
Sixth
sense recognizes the objects around
us,displaying information automatically and
letting us to access it in anyway we need.
In
simple,it is almost like installing a digital
system(computer) into our body and further
making it as sixth sense of our body.
The
sixth sense prototype implements
several applications that demonstrate the
usefulness and flexibility of system.
