Site analysis is an inventory completed as a preparatory step to site planning, a form of urban
planning which involves research, analysis, and conclusion. It primarily deals with basic data
as it relates to a specific site. The topic itself branches into the boundaries of architecture and
urban planning. Studies were conducted to investigate the various aspects that can help in
designing a martial art center which has been assigned to every student in the studio.
INTRODUCTION
Shah Alam is the state capital of Selangor,
Malaysia and situated within the Petaling District
and a small portion of the neighbouring Klang
District. It is located about 25 kilometres west of
the country's capital, Kuala Lumpur.
The UiTM Shah Alam campus is the flagship
institution of the University Technology MARA
System, the largest university in Malaysia in terms
of size and student enrollment and the only public
university carrying out intakes twice a year. The
university faculties comprise 4,000 academics,
scholars and researchers. The university has
expanded nationwide with four satellite campuses,
12 branch campuses, nine city campuses and 21
affiliated colleges. With this network and over
17,000 staff, the university offers more than 300
academic programs. It is home to some 172,000
students: bumiputeras and international students
INTRODUCTION
OBJECTIVES
1. To promote creative ideas in designing of complex for future use.
2. To expose students with the technique and procedure of project
development.
3. To evaluate the economic impact from the project.
4. To study the legislatives planning, procedures and process of development.
5. To identify the benefits of project to the staffs, faculties and UiTM.

The weather in Malaysia is characterized by two
monsoon regimes, namely, the Southwest Monsoon from
late May to September, and the Northeast Monsoon
from November to March. The Northeast Monsoon
brings heavy rainfall, whereas the Southwest Monsoon
normally signifies relatively drier weather.
PRECIPITATION
• The South-West Monsoon is
usually from June to September.
• The wind-flow is generally south-
westerly and light, approximately
15 knots.
• As the central and southern areas
of the peninsula are shielded by
Sumatra from the winds
associated with these monsoon, it
has vary little impact on the
Selangor area as the winds are
usually bereft of rain by the time
it hits the central and southern
part of the peninsula
