SITE 32

4. Week 1. 12/3/12 – 12/7/12
 Grade and form side walk on the north east connecting to existing side walk along Hill Street.
 Remove existing side walk along the west side of Hill St.
 Cut sidewalk and install 3” wide trench drain with steel top and inlet deflectors.
 Install new 6’ wide sidewalk along with place concrete for transition side walk.
 Place concrete for inlet channel embedded with river cobble.
 Place 4” mulch layer at Flat Bottom Bio-Retention area.
 Five working days.

5. Week 2. 12/10/12 – 12/14/12
 Import soil for embankment areas as needed fine grade to establish 4/1 slope.
 Remove site spoils clean north Bio-Retention area , haul off as needed.
 Hydro Seed remainder of Bio-Retention area.
 Adjust manhole casting structure to elevation 963.43 or as directed.
 Begin removal of existing granite curb.
 Saw cut pavement at the spring line of Cherokee and Kelly Road.
 Saw cut asphalt pavement per area defined on plan on Cherokee St.
 Begin pavement removal on north side of existing pavement working south.
 Five working days.

6. Week 3. 12/17/12 – 12/21/12
 Continue to remove and haul remainder of concrete pavement on Kelly St.
 Remove existing catch basins and storm pipe to existing junction Box, properly seal connection point.
 Place GAB stone material along abandoned trench line, compaction testing per direction of Contract Manager.
 Begin subgrade condition process; excavating to sub grade elevation grading north of existing junction box.
 Fill areas as needed to raise slope elevation south of existing junction box.
 Begin to cut or fill for areas under the proposed curb on east and west sides.
 Crew would need to establish a stone access road for residence to homes.
 Five working days.

7. Week 4. 12/24/12 – 12/28/12
 Holiday observance for 12/24 – 12/25 (or remainder of week per City of Atlanta staff availability) .
 Establish line and grade for proposed curbs.
 Place stone base under proposed curb and gutter along with forms placed tied into areas per plan.
 Place concrete if available for new concrete curb and gutter.
 Adjust existing junction box as needed.
 Remove residential concrete driveways , saw cut transitional sidewalk for resident on the north side.
 Place stone access for residential drive approaches.
 Three working days.

8. Week 5. 12/31/12 - 1/4/13
 Holiday observance for days 12/31/12 – 1/1/13.
 Continue with proposed concrete pavement subgrade condition work.
 Place first 6” lift of graded aggregate base course on Kelly St.
 Begin full depth asphalt pavement removal on Cherokee St.
 Place first 6 “ lift of graded aggregate base on Cherokee St.
 Compaction testing per direction of City of Atlanta Contract Manager.
 Asphalt mix design review sent in for City of Atlanta approval.
 Three working days.

9. Week 6. 1/7/13 – 1/11/13
 Place final 6” graded aggregate base course for Kelly street.
 Fine grade compaction testing per direction of City of Atlanta Contract Manager.
 Place new 26’ wide concrete roadway per Fulton County Detail (use of high early mix encouraged).
 Seven day cure process (if applicable).
 Saw cut contraction joints as needed.
 Place concrete for residential drive approaches.
 Five working days.

10. Week 7. 1/14/13 – 1/18/13
 Final 6” layer of graded aggregate base course for Cherokee St.
 Compaction testing for graded aggregate base course per direction of City of Atlanta Contract Manager.
 Adjust manhole on Cherokee St. if needed.
 Place base course asphalt material on Cherokee St.
 Place level course of asphalt on Cherokee St.
 Place surface course per approval of City of Atlanta Contract Manager (cold weather limits).
 Restoration of north area begins, removal of tree protection on north end of Bio-Retention area.
 Placing topsoil behind curb areas, seed or sod as directed.
 Five working days.

11. Week 8. 1/21/13 – 1/25/12
 Final clean up.
 Removal debris and tree protection.
 Equipment removal.
 Projected Completion date 1/22/13.
 Two working days.
