The mission of our Slideshare account is to serve the people of Salina by providing accurate and current information about policies, services and activities of local government through our slides; and to motivate and encourage all people, who represent diverse ethnic and cultural communities, to involve themselves in local government and public issues.The City of Salina is comprised of 14 departments: Arts & Humanities, City Manager's Office, Finance, Computer Technology, Community and Development Services, Fire, Human Resources, Municipal Court, Parks and Recreation, Police, Public Works, Utilities.
