19. Addressing Your Concerns…
Regarding Construction

 A majority of the construction operations will be on
weekdays during normal daytime hours, generally 6:00 am to
6:00 pm.
 Weekends will be utilized as make-up day due to weather.
 Flagging operations to a single lane will be performed to
place safety measures and equipment access.
 Nighttime operations will result in noise impacts.
 Notices will be distributed to email distribution list and
directly to fire, rescue, and school personnel.
 VDOT to send press releases for major traffic shifts.
 Speed limit will be reduced from 45 mph to 40 mph during
construction.
