Who are at risk of heat stroke?
1. Persons working in the hot sun.
2. Very fat man, older, with certain medical conditions.
Drink more water
frequently
Preventing Heat Stress
 Know signs/symptoms of heat-related
illnesses, monitor yourself and co-workers.
 Prevent from direct sun or other heat sources.
 Use cooling fans.
 Rest regularly.
 Drink plenty of water; 1 cup every 15 minutes.
 Wear lightweight, light colored, loose-fitting clothes.
 No alcohol, soft drinks.
Working in the rain
 Wear the rain coat
 Look out for slippery
area.
 Stop work immediately, if lightning appear several
occasion.
 Stop work immediately when there’s a sign of thunder
& lighting.
If you are sick or not
feeling well, please inform
your supervisor and see
the doctor.
Do not come to work.

Preventing Heat Stress  Know signs/symptoms of heat-related illnesses, monitor yourself and co-workers.  Prevent from direct sun or other heat sources.  Use cooling fans.  Rest regularly.  Drink plenty of water; 1 cup every 15 minutes.  Wear lightweight, light colored, loose-fitting clothes.  No alcohol, soft drinks.
