At first, swimming was one of the seven agilities of knights during the Middle Ages. The knights
swam with armor on them. If a person told a swimmer in Greece that they couldn t swim or they

Emerald Ash Borer Analysis
For the informative speech, my group presented the issue of the Emerald Ash Borer. In my speech,
I presented the positions of the University of Maine and Forestry Department. These were the two
major positions in the speech. For my speech, I did stumble a lot, however, it was hidden by the
short pauses I made throughout the speech. Also, I need better eye contact throughout the speech.
My speech primarily appealed to ethos and logos, citing specific examples and presenting long
qualifications. My group did very well researching the topic of the Emerald Ash Borer. Overall,
we worked well as a team, and completed out work on time. Our downfall, however, would be the
lack of interviews for sources for the speeches. Our group did reach out to multiple different
people, however, we only heard back from Dr. Livingston. This resulted in only having one
