Editor's Notes

  • #4 Set a baseline for what the Dark Web is and isn’t
  • #14 What’s the definition of insanity? Doing the same things over and over again and expecting a different result! Time to take a new path… The RE sector, much like others, isn’t just going to get cyber mature overnight. As such, most will need help to address threats like the Dark Web. Cyber risk assessments or threat feeds alone are not enough. A baseline risk profile must be developed, then monitored and updated continuously over time to meet the dynamic and changing cyber threat (go over wheel for CA). Organizations must create open and active communications channels to change info within their orgs and with their customers about active and immediate threats, as well as what to do about them.
